Fresh spy shots of in-production Tata Curvv have revealed the interior of the Tata Curvv. The interior seems like it is going to be an amalgam of cues from the Nexon and Harrier’s interiors.
The car is scheduled to arrive in the second half of 2024 into the Indian compact SUV market. We've already seen test mules multiple times as they undergo rigorous testing in advance of launch. For the first time, we have obtained the most lucid spy images of the manufacturing-spec Curvv's interior. Read the details below:
Interior Design
The Curvv's door pads and dashboard are modelled after the Nexon, displaying a recognizable design language. The air vents and central tube are similar to those in the Nexon, giving the interior design a unified appearance. Interestingly, the Curvv's gear lever and drive selector rotary knob are identical to those of the Nexon, which improves user experience. The massive four-spoke structure of the steering wheel is reminiscent of the larger Tata SUVs, such as the Safari and Harrier.
Information Display System
It has been reported that the Tata Curvv is probably going to provide an option between a 10.25-inch and a 12.3-inch infotainment display. Additionally, Customization according to user preferences and trim levels is made possible by this adaptable method. Anticipate the Curvv to have contemporary features such as an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) for increased safety, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, and a computerized driver's display.
Launch and Cost
The Tata Curvv, which is expected to go on sale in late 2024, will first be available as an electric vehicle before ICE variants. According to pricing estimates, the electric version would start at roughly Rs 20 lakh, while the ICE variant might start at about Rs 11 lakh. The ICE Curvv will compete with vehicles such as the Citroen Basalt, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, and Skoda Kushaq in the compact SUV market. Conversely, the electric Curvv will provide a substitute for the Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai Creta EV, Hyundai Kona Electric, and MG ZS eVX.
The interior design of the Tata Curvv is a harmonious fusion of modern and classic components from Tata's current range, resulting in a cabin that is both welcoming and easy to operate.
