The Tiago and Tigor, two of Tata Motors' best-selling models, now have automatic CNG AMT versions for the first time in India. There will be three different variants of the Tiago CNG AMT, priced between Rs 7.90 lakh and Rs 8.80 lakh, and two variants of the Tigor iCNG, priced between Rs 8.85 lakh and Rs 9.55 lakh. Ex-showroom rates apply to these prices. A nominal payment of Rs 21,000 is required for customers who are keen to reserve one of these new models. The company will be adding a curious new Tornado Blue in the Tiago, Grassland Beige in the Tiago NRG, and a Meteor Bronze in the Tigor to the current color palette.
Powertrain
Tata has not changed the 1.2-liter, three-cylinder, naturally aspirated engine despite the introduction of CNG technology. This engine produces 86 horsepower and 113 Nm of torque when powered by petrol; when using compressed natural gas (CNG), the output drops to 73 horsepower and 95 Nm. A 5-speed AMT and a 5-speed manual gearbox are the available options.

Features
Both vehicles have a direct start in CNG, a single sophisticated ECU, and twin-cylinder technology to conserve boot space. The cars have a digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, projector headlamps with LED DRLS, eight speakers in the Harman audio system, 14-inch wheels, electrically adjustable and foldable wing mirrors. Automatic headlamps and rain-sensing wipers are also included with the Tigor CNG.
