Hyundai Venue Prices Increased: Details on the Latest Hike

Hyundai India raises the price by ₹ 9,000 for most of the Venue variants across the country. The compact SUV still features broad distinction in terms of available options considering 12 variants and 11 colors available.

Hyundai Motor India has updated the price of Venue, a subcompact SUV that has generated much interest, due to a price increase that will apply to all models the company has planned for the release of 2025. As for the reasons that lead to an increase in prices, as of the beginning of the year 2025, it is possible to name the following ones: increase in the price of inputs; and market changes.

Here is what you, as a Hyundai Venue shopper, will be gaining from the changes in pricing.

Price Hike: Variants Affected

The price increase the company is imposed on some of the Hyundai Venue variants, with all the hikes amounting to ₹9,000. However, a few petrol variants remain unaffected by the revision:

  • E 1.2 Petrol MT

  • S(O) 1.2 Petrol MT

  • S(O)+ 1.2 Petrol MT

  • Executive 1.0 Turbo-Petrol MT

The new pricing has been implemented with all other models of the Venue lineup.

Venue Variant Lineup and Engine Options

Hyundai Venue comes in 12 different trims, which is undoubtedly a good thing as it is battling for the position in the sub-four-metre SUV segment. Buyers have the flexibility to choose from three engine options, which are:

  • 1.2-litre petrol

  • 1.0-litre turbo-petrol

  • 1.5-litre diesel

These three options of transmission include manual transmission, intelligent Manual Transmission and Dual Clutch Transmission. The firm also offers the SUV in 11 colour options as a way of catering for the needs of consumers on this front.

Competitive Positioning

Hyundai Venue is still a viable compact SUV with a sleek exterior, and comfortable interior packed with features along with fuel-efficient engines. However, the stretched price still makes the Venue a sensible sub-four metre SUV that rivals models such as the Maruti Brezza, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300 and Kia Sonet.

Why the Price Hike?

Hyundai attributed the new increase in the prices of its vehicles to factors such as increasing costs of inputs and others related to operations. The adjustment is, in harmony with the brand’s approach toward making sure that the items that they will be providing in the market will always meet the market demands and at the same time be profitable to the company but does not forgo the quality aspect of the products.

After the latest changes in the price positioning, the Venue remains one of the strongest propositions in the compact SUV segment as it offers versatility, mature features, and reliability for the money.
