Hyundai has introduced its compact SUV, the Venue, in the N Line grade, with prices starting at Rs. 12.16 lakh (ex-showroom) and rising to Rs. 13.15 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top-end N8 trim.
For Rs 21,000, reservations for the Venue N Line are already being accepted. The Venue N Line receives revised exterior components, a sportier suspension configuration, and an exhaust note.
This is Hyundai's second N Line model in India, following the i20 N Line, based on the face-lifted Venue. It is available in two trim levels, N6 and N8. In terms of specifications, the N6 costs Rs. 1.19 lakh more than the S(O), and the N8 costs Rs. 58,000 more than the most costly SX (O).
Unlike the i20 N Line, which also has a 6-speed iMT option, the Venue N Line only has one powertrain, a 120 horsepower, 172 Nm, 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine mated to a 7-speed DCT with paddle shifters.
The Hyundai Venue N Line receives mechanical improvements, like the i20 N Line, to set it apart as the sportier alternative to the base model. Suspension and steering have been adjusted, promising sharper handling around curves and a stable drive—two exhaust pipes at the rear with modified exhaust noise. The Venue N Line also includes disc brakes on its four corners.
The 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine in the Venue N Line produces 120 horsepower and 172 Nm and is mated to a 7-speed DCT with paddle shifters, unlike the i20 N Line, which also offers a 6-speed iMT as an option.
