Hyundai Venue Adventure Edition Vs Knight Edition A Detailed Comparison

Hyundai Venue Adventure Edition vs Knight Edition: A Detailed Comparison

Hyundai has always been a brand that knows how to keep its fans engaged. It has recently launched the Adventure edition of the Venue, giving it a sassy look with blacked-out styling elements and a robust exterior. The Hyundai Venue already has an all-black Knight edition which also boasts black treatment inside and out. Here’s how different the Venue Adventure looks in comparison to the Venue Knight. But how do these two versions differ? Let’s dive into a detailed comparison of the Venue Adventure Edition and the Knight Edition.

Bold Front Designs: A New Look for Each Edition

The first thing you notice when you see these two versions is their bold front designs. The Hyundai Venue Adventure Edition sports a unique Ranger Khaki color, giving it a rugged and adventurous feel. On the other hand, the Knight Edition sticks to its all-black theme, which gives it a more mysterious and sophisticated look.

Both cars share a blacked-out front grille, but the Knight Edition steps things up with brass inserts around the bumper and a silver skid plate. Both cars also feature blacked-out Hyundai logos on the front, which adds to the sporty vibe. So, whether you like the rugged charm of the Adventure Edition or the sleek, refined look of the Knight Edition, there's no shortage of personality in either one.

A Side-by-Side View: Sporty Wheels and Subtle Differences

Moving to the side, both the Adventure and Knight Editions share sporty blacked-out alloy wheels that really stand out. The red brake calipers add a dash of sportiness to the overall look of both cars, but there’s a slight difference when it comes to the roof rails. While both cars have black roof rails, the Knight Edition has a bit more flair with brass inserts on the roof rails and even on the alloy wheels.

These little touches might not be obvious at first glance, but they give the Knight Edition an extra edge in terms of detailing. However, if you prefer a cleaner, more rugged look, the Adventure Edition keeps it simple with its all-black styling.

Rear Styling: Keeping it Classy

At the back, both editions keep things consistent with blacked-out bumpers and a black skid plate. The Knight Edition, staying true to its theme, adds brass inserts to the rear bumper, tying it in with the front and side of the car.

While both versions maintain a similar overall structure, these brass accents make the Knight Edition stand out just a bit more. It's clear that Hyundai has put thought into these small details, giving each version its own distinct personality.

Interiors: A Clash of Class and Comfort

Inside the cabin, both the Venue Adventure and Knight Editions carry an all-black theme. But once again, there are some subtle differences. The Adventure Edition spices things up with sage green highlights on the dashboard and around the cabin, which adds a fresh, outdoorsy vibe. On the other hand, the Knight Edition keeps things classy with brass inserts, staying true to its sophisticated, dark theme.

One thing both editions have in common is their attention to detail in terms of comfort. Both come equipped with ventilated front seats, a sunroof, wireless phone charging, and an air purifier. Whether you’re on a long road trip or just cruising around town, these features ensure that your ride is as comfortable as possible. Plus, the Adventure Edition comes with a dual-camera dashcam, which adds an extra layer of practicality for those who love to explore.

Power and Performance: A Look Under the Hood

Both the Adventure and Knight Editions are powered by two petrol engine options. The 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine produces 83 PS of power and 114 Nm of torque. For those who want more punch, there’s also the 1-litre turbo-petrol engine, which delivers 120 PS and 172 Nm of torque.

The Adventure Edition is available only with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT) for the turbo-petrol engine, which makes for smooth gear shifts and a refined driving experience. The Knight Edition, however, gives you the choice of both a 6-speed manual transmission and a 7-speed DCT, offering a bit more flexibility depending on your driving preference.

Prices and Competitors

When it comes to price, there’s not much difference between the two editions. The Hyundai Venue Adventure Edition is priced between ₹10.15 lakh and ₹13.38 lakh, while the Knight Edition falls in a similar range, priced from ₹10.13 lakh to ₹13.33 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Both are competitively priced and go head-to-head with rivals like the Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV300, Renault Kiger, and Nissan Magnite.

Both the Hyundai Venue Adventure and Knight Editions have their unique charms. The Adventure Edition leans towards a rugged, outdoorsy feel with its khaki shade and sage green accents, while the Knight Edition exudes a more sophisticated, sporty vibe with its all-black theme and brass inserts. Performance-wise, they’re both on par, with similar engine options and a host of premium features that make them a delight to drive.

In the end, it comes down to personal preference. If you want a car that feels ready for an adventure with bold, fresh styling, the Adventure Edition is the way to go. But if you prefer a sleek, all-black look with a hint of luxury, the Knight Edition will suit you just fine. Either way, you’re getting a feature-packed, stylish SUV that’s hard to beat in its segment.
