## Hyundai presents its Flex Fuel innovation at the Bharat Mobility Expo.

[Hyundai Motors](https://parkplus.io/new-cars/hyundai-car) took an important step toward sustainable transport with the display of the Hyundai Creta Flex Fuel prototype at 2025's Bharat Mobility Expo. This alternative fuel SUV works smoothly with both 100% petrol (E0) and 100% ethanol (E100) fuel formats that follow government calls for ethanol-based energy to benefit the environment.

## Under the Hood

Instead of typical 1.5-litre gasoline or diesel engines, the Creta Flex Fuel runs on a turbocharged three-cylinder 1.0-litre engine. The engine delivers 118bhp and 170Nm of torque through a six-speed torque converter automatic transmission that replaces the dual-clutch automatic found in Venue and i20.

Ethanol fuel helps decrease global warming and gives customers cheaper prices, thanks to government fuel discounts. The new Hyundai Creta Flex Fuel prototype shows the company's dedication to clean technology while joining India's push to use ethanol as fuel.
