Hyundai is all set to redefine its Alcazar SUV with a significant facelift, which is expected to bring an impressive array of advanced features and technology to the three-row SUV segment. Slated for launch on 9th September 2024, the Alcazar facelift aims to enhance its appeal by offering more features than the immensely popular Hyundai Creta. The excitement is building as bookings for the new Alcazar are already open at a token amount of Rs. 21,000.
Key Highlight
One of the standout features in the Alcazar facelift is Hyundai's new digital key technology, which utilizes NFC (Near Field Communication). This makes the Alcazar the first Hyundai model in India to sport such advanced tech. With the digital key, users can lock or unlock the car simply by tapping their smartphone against the door handle, eliminating the need for a physical key. Beyond that, the digital key allows up to seven linked devices to access the vehicle, and can be shared with three different users, making it a highly convenient and modern feature for families and tech-savvy users.
Enhanced Interior with Top-Notch Features
Hyundai has paid significant attention to the Alcazar's interior, ensuring that it stands out not only for its additional seating capacity but also for the premium features it offers. Following in the footsteps of the Creta, the new Alcazar will be equipped with dual 10.25-inch digital screens—one for the infotainment system and the other for the instrument cluster—enhancing the user experience with crisp visuals and intuitive controls.
Additional comfort features include a touch-sensitive climate control panel, dual-zone automatic climate control, and connected car technology. Hyundai also aims to elevate the in-cabin experience with an eight-speaker Bose audio system, ventilated seats for both the front and second rows, a panoramic sunroof, rain-sensing wipers, and a second-row wireless charging pad. The Alcazar facelift also comes equipped with a magnetic pad for added convenience.
Powertrain Options: Petrol and Diesel
The new Alcazar will retain the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre turbo-diesel engine options, offering both power and efficiency. Customers will have the choice between a six-speed manual transmission and a torque converter automatic gearbox, providing flexibility depending on their driving preferences.
Aiming for the Top
With its launch just around the corner, the Hyundai Alcazar facelift is set to challenge the mid-size SUV segment, especially with its expanded feature list. Offering more than just an extra row of seats, the Alcazar promises to blend advanced technology, enhanced comfort, and powerful performance into a complete package.
