Hyundai Alcazar Facelift Launch In September Whats On Cards

Hyundai Alcazar Facelift Launch in September: What’s on Cards?

Hyundai is preparing to launch a facelift of its seven-seat SUV, the Alcazar, expected to hit the market in September this year. Initially launched in 2021, the Alcazar has been spotted in its updated form several times, suggesting a series of changes and upgrades.

Exterior Styling

  • Front Design: The Alcazar facelift will feature a dramatic makeover with a sleek, all-black parametric grille replacing the previous chrome-laden one. The new grille design incorporates horizontal slats flanked by vertically positioned dual-projector LED headlights. This design is reminiscent of the Hyundai Creta N Line, enhanced by distinctive H-shaped LED DRLs and a square overall appearance.

  • Side and Rear: The sides remain largely unchanged except for the new dual-tone alloy wheels with a swirling pattern. The rear is expected to feature revised LED taillights connected by an element and a sporty twin-tip exhaust, contributing to a more aggressive look.

Interior and Features

  • Cabin Design: The interior will likely reflect the facelifted Creta, featuring a dual-screen layout. Both six and seven-seater configurations will be available, with the six-seater option offering captain’s chairs in the second row.

  • Feature List:

  • Dual 10.25-inch screens for infotainment and instrumentation

  • Panoramic sunroof

  • Ventilated front seats

  • Dual-zone climate control

  • 360-degree surround camera

  • Electrically adjustable driver seats

  • ADAS: The most significant addition is the Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), enhancing safety and convenience.

Powertrain Specs

The new Hyundai Alcazar is expected to retain its current engine options:

  • Petrol Engine: 1.5-liter GDI turbocharged engine producing 158 bhp and 253 Nm of torque, available with a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT automatic transmission.

  • Diesel Engine: 1.5-liter CRDI unit delivering 115 bhp and 250 Nm of torque, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.

The Hyundai Alcazar facelift promises significant upgrades in both design and features, with advanced safety systems and a refined exterior and interior look. These changes aim to enhance its appeal in the competitive SUV market. Also Read:
