Hyundai Alcazar Facelift Could Get These 7 Features Over Mg Hector Plus

Hyundai Alcazar Facelift Could Get These 7 Features Over MG Hector Plus

The facelifted Hyundai Alcazar is set to make its debut on September 9, and the anticipation is high. Hyundai has already unveiled the exterior and interior of this three-row SUV and has begun accepting orders with a token amount of Rs 25,000. Competing directly with the MG Hector Plus, the Alcazar facelift is expected to introduce several new features that could give it an edge in the segment. Based on recent teasers and revealed images, here are seven additional features the Alcazar may offer over its MG rival:

1. Electric Boss Mode

Hyundai has confirmed that the upcoming Alcazar will feature Electric Boss Mode, exclusive to its 6-seater variants. This feature allows rear passengers to adjust the front passenger seat (co-driver) to create extra legroom, enhancing the second-row experience. This luxury feature is absent in the MG Hector Plus.

2. Bigger Digital Driver's Display

The Alcazar facelift is set to offer a more advanced integrated display setup, featuring a 10.25-inch digital driver's display. In contrast, the MG Hector Plus comes with a smaller 7-inch digital driver's display.

3. Second-row Ventilated Seats

In a move to boost passenger comfort, Hyundai has equipped the middle-row seats of the 6-seater Alcazar with a ventilation function. This is a standout feature that the MG Hector Plus lacks, although both SUVs offer ventilated front seats.

4. Wing-shaped Headrests

The 2024 Alcazar will introduce wing-shaped headrests for the second-row captain seats, providing extra support and comfort during long journeys. The MG Hector Plus, on the other hand, continues with conventional headrests.

5. Wireless Phone Charger for Rear Cabin

While both SUVs include a wireless phone charger in the front cabin, the Alcazar takes it a step further by offering a wireless phone charger in the rear cabin as well—a feature not available in the MG Hector Plus.

6. Powered Driver’s Seat With Memory Function

The facelifted Alcazar will come with 8-way powered front seats, surpassing the Hector Plus, which offers a 6-way power driver’s seat. Additionally, the Alcazar will include a memory function for the driver’s seat, which is another feature missing in the MG SUV.

7. Dual-zone Climate Control

The new Alcazar will offer dual-zone climate control, allowing the driver and front passenger to set different temperatures to suit their individual comfort levels. This feature is not available in the MG Hector Plus.

These enhancements could position the 2024 Hyundai Alcazar as a more feature-rich SUV compared to the MG Hector Plus, particularly for those who prioritize comfort and advanced features. With these options in mind, which SUV would you choose as your next vehicle? Let us know in the comments below!
