Hero MotoCorp will make an upward revision in the ex-showroom prices of its motorcycles and scooters, effective from July 3, 2023. The price increase will be around 1.5 per cent and the exact quantum of increase will vary by specific models and markets.
An official statement read, “The upward revision of the prices of motorcycles and scooters is part of the price review that the company undertakes from time to time, keeping in mind various factors like price positioning, input costs and business imperatives.” The company claims that it will continue with innovative financing programs to minimise the impact on the customers.
The statement further added, “The onset of monsoon in most parts of the country and overall economic indicators bode well for a growth in demand, and industry volumes are expected to pick up leading into the upcoming festive season.”
The company recently launched the Hero Xtreme 160R 4V at a price of Rs. 1.27 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base model. It houses a 163 cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected, air and oil-cooled engine coupled with a five-speed gearbox that produces 16.6 bhp of power and 14.6 Nm of peak torque.
