Maruti Suzuki recently expanded its Fronx range with the introduction of a version named Delta+ (O) priced at Rs 8.93 lakh. This mid-level option provides customers with a choice. It's important to note that it only comes with a 1.2-liter petrol engine.
Sitting between the Delta+ and Zeta models the Delta+ (O) offers a feature. Unlike the Delta+ which has airbags, the Delta+ (O) boasts a total of six airbags including side and curtain airbags making it the most budget-friendly choice, in the Fronx lineup equipped with this level of safety features. The Delta+ (O) model comes at a premium of Rs 15,000 compared to the Delta+ variant with airbags. Despite this enhancement, the Fronx Delta+ (O) version doesn't qualify to be, among India's 10 affordable cars and SUVs featuring six airbags.
In terms of engine options, Maruti Fronx offers two choices; a 1.2-liter petrol engine producing 113Nm torque and an available CNG variant.
On the other hand, customers also have the choice of selecting the 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine, which delivers power and 148Nm torque. The transmission options consist of a 5-speed manual, a 5-speed AMT, for the petrol engine version, and a 6-speed torque converter for the turbo petrol variation.
Regarding pricing the Maruti Fronx is priced between Rs 7.51 lakh and Rs 12.88 lakh. This competitive pricing positions the Fronx in rivalry with compact SUVs available, in India. Some of its competitors include Toyota Taisor, the recently introduced Mahindra XUV 3XO Tata Nexon, and Kia Sonet. With its design feature-rich interior and a variety of engine choices, the Fronx is designed to attract a range of customers looking for a stylish high-performing compact SUV that offers both style and practicality.
