Here’s The popular midsize SUV, the Kia Seltos, has received significant updates in the 2024 model year, reaffirming its stance as a value-for-money choice in the competitive SUV market. Kia has enhanced the Seltos lineup with new features, additional variants, and fresh colour options across different trims, offering consumers greater versatility and an improved driving experience.

Budget-friendly petrol automation

Enhanced Petrol Automatic Variants In response to the prevalent traffic conditions and increasing demand for automatic vehicles, Kia now offers a budget-friendly option in the Seltos lineup with the introduction of the CVT automatic transmission in the HTK+ model. Priced attractively at Rs 15.42 lakh, the HTK+ IVT trim is the most cost-effective automatic Seltos variant, delivering seamless performance powered by a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine generating 113 bhp and 144 Nm of torque. The HTK+ IVT model boasts an admirable mileage of 17.7 km/l as per ARAI ratings, ensuring an efficient driving experience.

New entry-level diesel automatic option

Introduction of New Diesel Automatic Variant Kia has expanded the Seltos range by introducing a 6-speed automatic torque converter in the popular HTK+ diesel variant, offering ease of use and convenience to diesel enthusiasts. Priced competitively at Rs 16.92 lakh, the HTK+ diesel automatic becomes the most economical diesel automatic choice in the Seltos lineup. Propelled by a 1.5-litre diesel engine delivering 114 bhp and 250 Nm of torque, this new diesel automatic variant impresses with a commendable fuel efficiency of 19.1 kmpl according to ARAI estimates.

New features introduced in HTK+

Feature-Rich Upgrades in HTK+ Trim Acknowledging the popularity of the Seltos HTK+ variant, Kia has enriched this trim with a slew of new features to enhance the driving experience. The updated HTK+ variant now boasts a panoramic sunroof, multiple drive and traction control modes, LED fog lamps, and connected LED tail lamps, elevating style and functionality. Furthermore, the HTK+ variant showcases a leatherette-wrapped steering wheel, an all-new Aurora Black Pearl colour option, and paddle shifters in automatic transmissions for enhanced driving dynamics.

New Features and Color Options Across Trims The Seltos lineup has witnessed updates in the entry-level HTE variant with the introduction of five new colour schemes and standardization of features like voice command operations and auto up/down functionality in all four power windows. The HTE variant now offers a fresh mix of colours such as Aurora Black Pearl, Gravity Grey, Intense Red, Pewter Olive, and Imperial Blue, catering to diverse consumer preferences.

By refreshing the Seltos lineup with a compelling blend of features and options, Kia has reinforced its position as a strong contender in the midsize SUV segment, offering customers a well-rounded and attractive package aligned with comfort, performance, and value.
