Features, Cost, and Information about the New Kia Syros HTK (EX), Released in India for ₹9.89 Lakh

With the introduction of the new HTK (EX) model, Kia India has bolstered its lineup of Syros compact SUVs for consumers looking for the best value without going over budget. The new variant, which starts at ₹9.89 lakh (ex-showroom), adds high-end goodies including a sunroof, a huge touchscreen infotainment system, full LED lighting, and improved safety equipment. The HTK (EX), which comes with both gasoline and diesel engines, fits in well between current models.

  • A new Kia Syros HTK (EX) model was introduced to increase options and affordability.

  • Variant offers both gasoline and diesel alternatives at reasonable prices, together with high-end equipment and robust safety.

With the release of the HTK (EX) variation, Kia India has added an intriguing new member to the Syros compact SUV family, increasing the model's attractiveness in a cutthroat market.

This trim, which starts at ₹9.89 lakh for the turbo-petrol model, presents itself as a compelling value offer that fills the gap between the Syros lineup's lower and top models. With a price range of ₹10.63 - 10.63 lakh (all numbers ex-showroom), the diesel variant offers buyers a variety of powertrain options.

The Line-Up's Sweet Spot

The HTK (EX) trim completes the Syros line with seven trim levels, sitting slightly below the HTK+ models and above the ordinary HTK. This new grade greatly improves what customers receive for their money without changing the engineering.

The SUV now has a more upscale road presence thanks to exterior modifications like 16-inch alloy wheels and a complete LED lighting kit that includes LED headlamps, daytime running lights (DRLs), and tail lamps.

With feature additions often found on higher models, the inside of the cabin makes a notable leap. A single-pane electric sunroof improves the feeling of light and space, and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay becomes standard.

Convenient features for daily use include a rear parking camera with sensors and electrically adjustable and foldable outside mirrors.

No Compromises in Performance and Safety

Kia has continued to prioritize safety for the Syros. The SUV's 5-star Bharat NCAP safety rating is a result of the HTK (EX) maintaining an extensive safety suite that includes six airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control, Hill Start Assist, and Vehicle Stability Management. It is therefore among the safer options in its class.

Customers can pick between the 1.5-liter diesel engine, which produces 116 horsepower and 250 Nm, and the 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine, which produces about 118 horsepower and 172 Nm. While automated transmissions are available on other Syros trim levels, manual gearboxes are standard here.

Growing Selection on the Market for Compact SUVs

Kia improves the Syros' standing in the competitive sub-compact SUV market by introducing the HTK (EX) model. Without going too far up the price range, it provides an enticing combination of desirable features, solid safety credentials, and useful use. This updated version may strike the ideal mix for those seeking additional equipment at a reasonable cost.
