Complete Details about Skoda Kylaq Prices Increased in India for Certain Variants

A price adjustment for the Kylaq compact SUV has been announced by Skoda Auto India, raising the price of some models in its lineup. The base model and newly launched variants are unaffected by the raise, which primarily affects the popular mid and higher trims. This update modifies the Kylaq's overall pricing structure somewhat at a time when customers are attentively comparing features, affordability, and value in the fiercely competitive compact SUV market.

  • All Kylaq trims, aside from the base Classic and the new Classic+/Prestige+ models, now have different prices.

  • While the impending Sportline addition is unchanged, popular Signature and Prestige versions experience considerable increases.

With immediate effect, Skoda Auto India has discreetly raised the price of its Kylaq range of compact SUVs. The action follows the brand's announcement of improvements for other models in its lineup. Most of the popular Kylaq trims are affected by the price adjustments, although the entry-level Classic and the newly released Classic+ and Prestige+ models are still priced at their previous levels. Customers considering mid-range and higher-end models would now have to pay more due to the changes.

In particular, the manual and automatic Signature trims, as well as the Signature+ models, are now up to ₹33,000 more expensive. Additionally, the ex-showroom pricing of the Prestige MT and Prestige AT models has increased by almost ₹24,000 each.

What Has and Has Not Changed

The Kylaq's base Classic model is unaffected by the update, providing entry-level consumers with some respite. Customers have additional options without having to pay more for them, thanks to recently launched trims like Classic+ and Prestige+, which also keep their original rates.

Following these modifications, the Kylaq's ex-showroom pricing range now ranges from ₹7.59 lakh to ₹12.99 lakh, maintaining its competitiveness in the small SUV market. This places it squarely in competition with competitors like the Tata Nexon, which still has a competitive price.

Prospective Kylaq customers will have to pay a little more for popular models that provide a good mix of features and value as a result of the price increase. Even if the increase is modest when considered separately, it might influence some buyers to choose the base model, the unaltered new trim levels, or even competing vehicles that haven't undergone comparable changes.

At the same time, people who want more features at consistent prices could find Skoda's strategy of adding new models to the Kylaq portfolio, such as the Classic+ and Prestige+, appealing.

As manufacturers adjust products and costs in response to market dynamics and new launches across classes, the updated pricing highlights how competitive the Indian compact SUV market is in 2026.
