Check Out Our List Of Pros And Cons Before Buying A Used Isuzu D Max V Cross

Check out our list of pros and cons before buying A Used Isuzu D-Max V-Cross

The launched Isuzu D Max V Cross BS6, in India now comes with one engine option, a departure from the previous model that offered multiple engine choices. The updated Isuzu V Cross 1.9 took over from the 2.5-liter engine in higher-end versions back in 2019 while the older iteration of the Isuzu D Max V Cross with the 2.5-liter engine has gained popularity in the second hand car market. For those thinking about buying a used Isuzu D Max V Cross here are some advantages and disadvantages to mull over before making your decision.

Advantages;

  1. The Isuzu D Max V Cross boasts a sturdy look that emanates an adventurous spirit, enhanced by bi-LED projector headlights LED daytime running lights (DRLs), and tail lamps. The current model retains its charm. Continues to embody the essence of a lifestyle pickup SUV.

  2. With its dual-tone interior featuring leather seats the Isuzu D Max V Cross provides a cozy space for passengers.

  3. The dependable shift-on-the-fly four-wheel drive (4x4) system, on the Isuzu D Max V Cross offers assurance when encountering demanding terrains.

  4. The V Cross is a utility vehicle that can handle loads of, up to 215 kg in its rear bed making it perfect for transporting goods and moving around with ease.

    Drawbacks;

  5. The older Isuzu D Max V Cross comes with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder diesel engine that lacks the low-end torque and refinement found in the 1.9-liter model important for off-road adventures that require strong low-end power.

  6. While the Isuzu D Max V Cross has a design it falls short when it comes to offering conveniences and connectivity features such as Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, built-in navigation, soft-touch materials, ambient lighting, and rear air conditioning vents.

  7. The back seat comfort on trips is mediocre lacking support for extended periods of travel.

  8. Having disc brakes and rear drum brakes as standard equipment means there's room for improvement, in brake performance especially given the weight and size of the V Cross. Switching to disc brakes on all wheels could enhance braking efficiency.
