BYD India has already sold more than 10,000 electric passenger cars and has become one of the main participants in the high-end EV market. BYD has 44 dealerships in India and has gradually consolidated its position in the major markets. What's Next BYD Atto 2 Is Coming Soon
In the future, BYD is in the process of launching its Atto 2, a low-end all-electric SUV, in India. Having been recently seen on test drives, the model will likely reduce the barrier to entry of any customer wishing to switch to EVs and increase the reach of BYD to a new audience segment.
