BYD India Crosses 10,000 EV Deliveries Milestone

BYD India has marked a significant achievement by surpassing 10,000 electric vehicle deliveries in the country. With four EVs in its portfolio, growing dealership presence, and a strong referral-driven customer base, the automaker continues to expand its footprint while gearing up for the launch of the Atto 2 SUV.

BYD India has already sold more than 10,000 electric passenger cars and has become one of the main participants in the high-end EV market. This achievement indicates the increasing popularity of electric mobility in the country and shows a steady increase in BYD since its entry into the Indian market.

Its current collection consists of four models: the Sealion 7, Atto 3https://parkplus.io/new-cars/byd-car/atto-3, eMax 7 and the Seal sedan, which are all meant to satisfy a wide range of customers: family-minded buyers and buyers who want to have a high-end feel of driving an electric car.

Growth of Network and Customer Retention

BYD has 44 dealerships in India and has gradually consolidated its position in the major markets. In addition to the dealership growth, the company attributes referrals by current customers as one of the key drivers of its sales momentum. This word-of-mouth recommendation demonstrates the confidence and gratification that customers have in BYD and its technology, design, and post-sales service.

Rajeev Chauhan, Head of Electric Passenger Vehicles Business of BYD India, underlined that the fact that this was achieved points to the confidence of the customers and the company in its ability to provide sustainable mobility. He observed that every vehicle on the road also helps in the reduction of emissions, as well as the development of EV technology and infrastructure in India.

What's Next BYD Atto 2 Is Coming Soon

In the future, BYD is in the process of launching its Atto 2, a low-end all-electric SUV, in India. Having been recently seen on test drives, the model will likely reduce the barrier to entry of any customer wishing to switch to EVs and increase the reach of BYD to a new audience segment.

Through this imminent launch, BYD will strive to ride its wave and establish itself as a top premium EV brand in India.
