BMW is all set to launch the facelifted X5 on July 14 with changes on the inside and outside.
The facelift comes with a new grille and a reprofiled front bumper. The headlamp unit has been redone for a sleeker look and the rear section gets changes on the brake lamp setup and a new bumper.
The cabin sports a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment unit and a 14.9-inch driver dash integrated as one single curved display. Other mentions include ambient lighting with 15 colour options, redesigned centre console, optional Driving Assistance Professional Package to name a few.
The BMW X5 is offered in both petrol and diesel powertrains, the facelift will house updated versions of both the engines. A 3.0-litre, six-cylinder engine that comes mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission that gets an all-wheel drive feature as standard.
The diesel powertrain produces 293 bhp of power and 670 Nm of peak torque, and the petrol engine produces 375 bhp and 520 Nm of peak torque. The ICE engine is also paired with a 48V battery that comes installed on the gearbox, the battery makes 11 bhp and 200 Nm of torque.
The BMW X5 price in India is Rs. 98.50 lakh for the petrol guise and Rs. 99.90 lakh for the diesel option. We can expect a slight hike over the outgoing prices for the facelifted BMW X5.
