All You Need To Know About 2024 Maruti Dzire

All you need to know about 2024 Maruti Dzire

Maruti Suzuki is preparing to launch the 2024 Dzire sedan in the Indian market. Following the May 2024 launch of the fourth-generation Swift hatchback, the new Dzire has already been spotted testing, providing a glimpse of the changes both inside and out.

Here's what you need to know before its official release:

Fresh Design: As the sedan version of the new Swift, the Dzire is expected to share a similar design language. This may include new LED projector headlights, an oval grille, and updated alloy wheels. However, the Dzire will retain its distinct character with a longer stance, sloping roofline, and upright tailgate. It will also feature new wraparound LED tail lights.

Premium Cabin: While the 2024 Dzire may have a similar dashboard layout to the new Swift, it is likely to differentiate itself with a dual-tone cabin theme. It is expected to offer a large 9-inch touchscreen unit, a redesigned steering wheel, an updated climate control panel, and sleek central AC vents, similar to those found in the 2024 Swift.

Equipment: Alongside the touchscreen, the new Dzire is expected to come with additional features such as wireless phone charging, automatic AC with rear vents, cruise control, push-button start/stop, and a height-adjustable driver seat. Safety features may include six airbags as standard, ISOFIX child seat mounts, a hill-hold assist, and possibly a 360-degree camera.

Powertrain Options: The Dzire is likely to share the 1.2-litre Z series 3-cylinder petrol engine with the Swift, generating 82 PS of power and 112 Nm of torque. It is expected to be offered with both a 5-speed manual transmission and an AMT option. A CNG powertrain option may be introduced later, similar to the Swift.

Launch and Price: The new Maruti Dzire is expected to be launched in the second half of 2024, with prices starting from approximately Rs 7 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete with rivals such as the Honda Amaze, Hyundai Aura, and Tata Tigor. While awaiting its official launch, car enthusiasts can look forward to the new Maruti Dzire and its various updates that promise to enhance the overall driving experience.
