Revised Grille and Bumper Garnishes Give the Crysta a Subtly Fresher Face
The updated Crysta gets a revised front grille and chrome bumper garnishes, with similar changes applied to the rear bumper garnishes as well.
The overall silhouette remains familiar, retaining the proportions that have long made the Crysta a recognisable presence on Indian roads.
Depending on the variant, features such as automatic LED projector headlights, halogen fog lamps, and 16- or 17-inch alloy wheels are on offer.
Grace Copper Accents and New Upholstery Freshen Up the Cabin
Inside, the Crysta receives new dual-tone seat upholstery, while several trims now come finished in Grace Copper, including the steering wheel and door trims.
Toyota has also refreshed the detailing across the AC controls, switches, and the seatback table for second-row passengers.
To enhance convenience, a wireless charger has been added to the VX and ZX trims, while the ZX also gains a tyre-pressure monitoring system. Features such as ambient lighting, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, automatic climate control, an 8-way powered driver's seat, push-button start/stop, and cruise control continue to be available depending on the variant.
Safety Kit Unchanged, With up to 7 Airbags Across the Range
ABS with EBD and hill-start assist are standard across all variants.
The GX and GX+ trims are equipped with 3 airbags, while the VX and ZX grades come with 7 airbags. No changes have been made to the underlying safety architecture.
Proven 2.4-Litre Diesel Carries Over Without Mechanical Revision
No changes have been made under the bonnet. The Innova Crysta continues with its 2.4-litre diesel engine producing 150hp and 343Nm of torque, paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox. Eco and Power drive modes are standard.
A Fitting Final Chapter for One of India's Most Enduring MPVs
This is most likely the last refresh for the long-running Toyota MPV, which is set to bow out in 2027.
For a nameplate that has earned the loyalty of private buyers, fleet operators, and large families alike, the 2026 update serves as a measured send-off.
The Crysta's combination of a spacious, well-appointed cabin, a dependable diesel drivetrain, and strong resale values has kept it relevant through multiple generation cycles. This final refresh ensures it exists on its own terms, looking sharper than ever.
