2025 Jeep Meridian Launched In India Prices Start At Rs 24 Lakh 99 Thousand With Mid Life Updates And Enhanced Features

2025 Jeep Meridian Launched in India: Prices Start at Rs. 24.99 Lakh with Mid-Life Updates and Enhanced Features

Jeep India has introduced a mid-life update to its popular premium SUV, the Jeep Meridian , with prices starting at Rs. 24.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This refreshed version continues to build on the Meridian’s reputation for combining rugged off-road capabilities with premium comfort and technology. The 2025 Jeep Meridian brings several noteworthy improvements to the table, especially in terms of tech and safety features, while keeping the mechanical aspects unchanged. Available in four variants —Longitude, Longitude Plus, Limited (O), and Overland—the new Meridian is offered in both five-seat and seven-seat configurations.

Exterior Design: Subtle but Familiar

In terms of design, Jeep has chosen to stick with the tried-and-true formula that has made the Meridian a stylish and capable SUV. The exterior remains largely unchanged , retaining its distinctive Jeep DNA with a bold seven-slat grille, sleek LED headlamps with integrated daytime running lights (DRLs) , and a muscular stance. This facelift does not introduce any dramatic visual changes, but each variant gets 18-inch alloy wheels with different patterns based on the model.

At the rear, sleek LED taillamps enhance the sophisticated look, while the vehicle’s robust overall stance conveys the off-road prowess that Jeep is known for. Although this update doesn’t include any major exterior redesigns, it maintains the Meridian’s strong road presence, making it a solid choice for those who value both style and performance.

Interior: Enhanced Tech and Comfort Features

One of the key highlights of the 2025 Jeep Meridian is the enhanced feature set , particularly in the tech and safety departments . Inside, Jeep has focused on upgrading the connectivity and convenience features to keep the SUV competitive in the premium segment.

The refreshed Meridian is now equipped with Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) , which includes a suite of features such as adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and automatic emergency braking, among others. These features significantly enhance the driving experience, offering more safety and convenience for both city and highway driving.

In addition, the 2025 Meridian comes with a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay , ensuring seamless connectivity for smartphones. Complementing this is a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster , which provides real-time vehicle information in a modern and sleek display.

Other standout features include a wireless charger , dual-zone climate control , and a panoramic sunroof that adds a sense of openness to the cabin. The front seats are both powered and ventilated , enhancing comfort, especially on long drives in hot weather. However, these premium features are reserved for the higher trims, as the base Longitude variant misses out on a sunroof and powered front seats, and is only available in a five-seat configuration .

The higher trims, such as Longitude Plus , Limited (O) , and Overland , come standard with a seven-seat layout and the full range of features, making them ideal for families or those who prioritize additional seating capacity.

Performance: Trusted Diesel Powertrain

Under the hood, the 2025 Jeep Meridian continues to be powered by the reliable and proven 2.0-litre four-cylinder diesel engine . This engine produces 168bhp of power and 350Nm of torque, delivering a robust performance suited for both urban commuting and off-road adventures. Buyers can choose between two transmission options: a six-speed manual gearbox or a nine-speed automatic torque converter .

As before, the Meridian offers both 4x2 and 4x4 drivetrain options, ensuring that the SUV retains its off-road credentials while also providing a comfortable and capable drive on regular roads. The 4x4 version, in particular, is aimed at enthusiasts who are keen on exploring more rugged terrains and challenging conditions.

Pricing and Variants

Jeep India has priced the 2025 Meridian competitively, with four variants catering to different customer needs. Here’s the breakdown of the variant-wise ex-showroom prices :

  • Jeep Meridian Longitude (5-seater) – Rs. 24.99 lakh

  • Jeep Meridian Longitude Plus (7-seater) – Rs. 27.5 lakh

  • Jeep Meridian Limited (O) (7-seater) – Rs. 30.49 lakh

  • Jeep Meridian Overland (7-seater) – Rs. 36.49 lakh

The Longitude variant is the entry point into the Meridian lineup, offering the essentials without many of the premium features. As you move up the ladder to Longitude Plus and Limited (O) , the feature list expands to include the seven-seat configuration, sunroof, ventilated seats, and more. The Overland variant , sitting at the top of the range, offers the most features and is ideal for those seeking a fully loaded SUV experience.

Conclusion: A Well-Rounded Update for 2025

The 2025 Jeep Meridian may not bring radical design changes, but its enhanced features and technology updates make it a compelling option in the premium SUV segment. By retaining its strong diesel engine, off-road capabilities, and introducing new tech like Level 2 ADAS, Jeep ensures that the Meridian remains relevant and competitive in an increasingly crowded market. With prices starting at Rs. 24.99 lakh, the updated Meridian offers a well-rounded package for those who seek a blend of performance, luxury, and rugged capability.
