Xiaomi W Debunking Rumors Of Xiaomi Auto Developing New

Xiaomi-W: Debunking Rumors of Xiaomi Auto Developing New Car

There have been rumors circulating lately that Xiaomi Automobile is developing a new automobile platform. The general manager of Xiaomi-W's public relations, Wang Hua, clarified on Weibo that Sina Tech's allegation was untrue. Xiaomi Automobile was reportedly developing a new platform for three SUV models that would be propelled by supercharged hybrid engines, according to a report from China Business Network. These cars were designed to be used by families.

According to people with knowledge of the situation, the three new models—which drew inspiration from the Li L7, Li L8, and Li L9—would be built on the same chassis but differentiated by variations in wheelbase and seating capacity.

Notably, it was anticipated that these cars will cost less than Li offerings. Furthermore, Xiaomi Automobile revealed that it was developing a fully electric SUV and sedan. Tesla's Model Y was reportedly the inspiration for the electric SUV.

While these stories have sparked discussion about Xiaomi Auto's prospective vehicle portfolio, it is important to remember that the firm has stated in its official statement that there is no truth to the rumors that it is creating a new automotive platform. The direction of Xiaomi Automobile's product development is yet unclear, but the company's emphasis on SUVs and electric cars points to a move in the direction of eco-friendly and family-friendly transportation choices.

As Xiaomi-W continues to clarify misinformation and work towards its automotive goals, investors and industry watchers are keen to see how these developments will shape the company's future in the competitive automotive market. Stay tuned for further updates on Xiaomi Automobile's progress and upcoming vehicle offerings.
