Waiting Period of Lotus Emira and Other Must-Know information

The starting price of the Lotus Emira in India is ₹3.71 crore. Vivid Red, Zinc Grey, Atlantis Blue, Hethel Yellow, Nimbus Grey, Shadow Grey, Dark Verdant (Green), Seneca Blue, Magma Red, Mist White, Meridian Blue, Osmium Silver, and Cosmos Black are the 13 colors that are available for Emira.

The Lotus Emira was launched in March 2024, but due to high demand and limited supply at launch, it will be imported as a Completely Built Unit (CBU) from the UK, resulting in a waiting period of approximately 6-7 months to a year in India, according to recent reports. The Lotus Emira will be the second product from the brand.

Lotus Emira Waiting Period: Variant Description and other Details

As of February 2025, the Lotus Emira has been launched in India, with prices starting at ₹3.22 crore (ex-showroom). However, specific information regarding the current waiting period for the Emira in India is not readily available.

Given the high demand for such exclusive vehicles, one can expect a waiting period of 6-12 months.

Let's have a look at the variants provided for Lotus Emira.

The car only boasts a single variant as of now:

Emira Turbo

  • 1998 cc, Petrol, Automatic (DCT), 360 bhp

  • It is Priced at Rs. 3.71 Crore.

Engine of the Lotus Emira

The technical specifications of the Lotus Emira are:

  • Configuration: 3.5-liter V6, supercharged

  • Power Output: ~400 hp

  • Torque: ~420 Nm (310 lb-ft)

  • Transmission: 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic

Features of Lotus Emira

The all new Lotus Emira boasts the following features:

  • Suspension: Double-wishbone setup for sharp handling

  • Drive Modes: Multiple drive modes for different driving conditions

  • Steering: Hydraulic power-assisted steering (for better feedback)

  • Brakes: High-performance brakes with ABS and electronic stability control

  • Aerodynamics: Advanced aerodynamics for high-speed stability

Conclusion

The Lotus Emira, which comes with a choice between a high-tech AMG turbocharged inline-4 and a raw, supercharged V6, is a magnificent fusion of traditional Lotus driving qualities and contemporary elegance. It is a formidable rival in the sports car industry thanks to its lightweight chassis, agile handling, and luxurious cabin. However, the expected wait period for delivery is presently between 7-12 months due to strong demand and limited supply. The Emira is well worth the wait for enthusiasts looking for a genuine, captivating driving experience.
