Hyundai i20 N Line Prices Increased: Here’s What You Need to Know

The Hyundai i20 N Line has received a price hike of ₹4,000 on select variants, making the top-end trim cost ₹12.56 lakh. Here’s a breakdown of the changes.

Hyundai has announced a price revision for the i20 N Line, its sportier version of the popular premium hatchback. The latest price increase applies to select variants of the i20 N Line, with the top-end model now priced at ₹12.56 lakh (ex-showroom).

This price hike comes as part of Hyundai’s broader strategy of revising costs across its lineup.

Let’s take a closer look at the updated pricing and what it means for potential buyers.

Price Hike Breakdown

The i20 N Line has become costlier by ₹4,000, but this increase only applies to certain trims. The entry-level N6 MT and N6 MT dual-tone variants remain unaffected, keeping their original prices intact. All other variants have received the ₹4,000 hike.

After this revision, the Hyundai i20 N Line now starts at ₹9.99 lakh and goes up to ₹12.56 lakh (ex-showroom). While the increase is relatively minor, it does impact buyers looking for the higher-end variants.

Powertrain & Performance

The i20 N Line retains its 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine, which continues to deliver 120 PS and 172 Nm of torque. Hyundai offers two gearbox choices:

  • Six-speed manual transmission (MT) – For those who love a more engaging driving experience.

  • Seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT) – For buyers preferring convenience with quick shifts.

The performance-focused hatchback is designed to appeal to enthusiasts, featuring sportier aesthetics, tuned suspension, and a throaty exhaust note.

Colors & Variants

Hyundai offers the i20 N Line in seven colors, including both monotone and dual-tone options.

The model is available in two variants:

  • N6 – The base variant, offering all the essential features of the N Line.

  • N8 – The top-end trim, which includes premium features like a sunroof, digital instrument cluster, and Bose sound system.

Should You Buy the Hyundai i20 N Line Now?

Despite the price hike, the i20 N Line remains one of the most affordable performance-oriented hatchbacks in India. It offers sporty styling, a fun-to-drive nature, and a feature-packed cabin, making it an attractive choice for buyers looking for a premium hatchback with an aggressive edge.

If you were considering purchasing the i20 N Line, it might be wise to act fast before Hyundai implements any further price hikes in the near future.
