Vayve To Showcase Eva Solar Powered Ev Launching At Bharat Mobility Away In 2025

Vayve to Showcase Eva Solar-Powered EV Launching at Bharat Mobility Away in 2025

The Pune-based Vayve will unveil the production version of its innovative Eva electric vehicle (EV) at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 in New Delhi. This will be from 17th January to 22nd January 2025.

The solar-powered efficient and environment-friendly electric vehicle which will be unveiled as a production-ready model was earlier displayed at the Auto Expo 2023 held in February as a concept vehicle with a solar panel fitted on the roof as one of its unique features of energy generation.

Compact and Aerodynamic

The Vayve Eva EV is a compact quadricycle-like design that is designed to have the best possible aerodynamic efficiency. It is 3060mm long, 1150mm wide, 1590mm high, and has a wheelbase of 2200mm. It is somewhat longer and taller than its MG Comet EV but in fact, it is narrower. The Eva is installed with 13-inch tires while the Comet uses 12-inch tires.

The Eva comes in six different colors which are Moonstone White, Light Platinum, Rose Coral, Sky Blue, Champagne Gold, and Cherry Red and it is a perfect balance between looks and utility.

Features and Seat Configurations

The cabin of Vayve Eva is pretty good in terms of the driver visibility and passenger comfort it provides. Some of these modern-day cabin inclusions are:

  • Touchscreen Digital Info Display

  • Support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay

  • Panoramic sunroof

  • Six-way adjustable driver's seat.

  • Personalized cabin temperature control

  • Remote monitoring and diagnostics with OTA (Over-the-air) updates

  • It can carry three people—a driver and a rear bench for adults and a child

Battery Specifications and Performance

The Vayve Eva EV is powered by a liquid-cooled 14kwh battery with an IP68 waterproof rating. It comes with a range of 250km on a single charge, supplemented by a solar mileage of 3,000km annually.

Further performance details include:

  • 40Nm rear-wheel drive motor

  • Acceleration from 0-40kph in just 5 seconds

  • Top speed capped at 70kph

  • Charging options are versatile

  • Fast Charging: 50km range in just 5 minutes

  • DC Charging: 80% charge in 45 minutes

  • Standard Charger: 4 hours for full charge

Sustainability and Running Costs

The Eva EV boasts ultra-low running costs of just Rs 0.5 per kilometre, a staggering 90% reduction compared to conventional petrol vehicles, which cost around Rs 5 per kilometre. This cost-efficiency is achieved through the use of lightweight materials and its reliance on renewable energy sources like solar power.

Safety Features

Safety is not compromised with features like a driver airbag and seatbelts for all three passengers. The battery is positioned under the floor, adding to the stability and crash protection of the vehicle.

Changing Urban Mobility

Vayve Eva is a step forward in sustainable urban transportation. With its advanced features, solar-powered technology, and cost-efficient operation, the Eva is going to redefine city commuting.

Catch its unveiling at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 and witness the future of eco-friendly travel.
