Toyota launches Hyryder Aero Edition with sporty styling kit priced at ₹31,999.

A new Aero Edition option for Toyota Kirloskar Motor's (TKM) well-liked Urban Cruiser Hyryder SUV has been unveiled. This is a stylistic add-on, not a whole trim update, that gives the SUV a sportier, more aggressive appearance without affecting the mechanics.

The well-liked Urban Cruiser Hyryder SUV now comes with a new Aero Edition kit from Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM). In contrast to a complete trim update, this is a cosmetic accessory designed to give the SUV a sportier, more aggressive appearance without affecting the engine.

What's unique is not performance but style:

  • The dealer-fitted body package for the Aero Edition costs ₹31,999 more than the regular Hyryder.

  • To add sporty flair and a more aerodynamic appearance, the kit comes with side skirts, a rear spoiler, and a front spoiler.

  • Rather than developing a distinct trim, it is available as an optional upgrade for all current Hyryder models (i.e., any engine or trim).

  • The exterior colors of the Aero Edition style include Red, Black, Silver, and White.

According to Toyota, this is a limited-time offer that allows customers to customize the Hyryder's look.

Features, pricing, and powertrains remain unchanged

There is no impact on the Hyryder's mechanics because this is only an exterior style kit.

Powertrain alternatives:

  • A 1.5 L mild hybrid engine with 103 horsepower and a 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearbox. In certain trim levels, the automatic variant comes with 4WD.

  • A 1.5 L strong-hybrid (self-charging hybrid) with an e-CVT (or e-drive) transmission produces 116 horsepower.

  • Additionally, Toyota offers a CNG version with 87 horsepower and 121 Nm of output (in certain markets/variants).

Features and the interior

Already, the Hyryder has provided a wide range of technological features and conveniences that are still available:

  • Panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, and leather seats with ventilation.

  • Bluetooth, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay on a 9-inch touchscreen.

  • Wireless charging, rear AC vents, a 360-degree camera, and 60:40 split seats that recline.

Toyota has a shot at increasing interest in the Hyryder by improving its appearance before the holiday season, when buyers are searching for unique features.
