Toyota Hybrid Lineup Faces Lengthy Waiting Periods In May 2024

Toyota Hybrid Lineup Faces Lengthy Waiting Periods in May 2024

The Japanese Automaker, Toyota is currently facing challenges while delivering the Hybrid cars. Even though strong hybrid cars do not have any government support in India by way of incentives, Toyota has been championing the technology for years and has a wide range of hybrid models on offer in India too. But If you’re planning to buy a Toyota hybrid model this May 2024, you might have to wait a year or more depending on the model. Here’s the model-wise waiting period for the Toyota hybrid lineup:

Toyota Camry

The Camry, which has a waiting period of about one month, is the best alternative for people wishing to buy a Toyota hybrid vehicle in May 2024. The Camry, which is Toyota's sole sedan model offered in India, has a 2.5-liter gasoline engine and costs Rs 46.17 lakh (ex-showroom).

Hyryder Toyota Urban Cruiser

With a 1.5-liter gasoline engine, the Urban Cruiser Hyryder hybrid SUV has a respectable wait period of about two months. With prices ranging from Rs 16.66 lakh to Rs 20.19 lakh (ex-showroom), the electrified variants are a compelling choice for individuals looking for a high-end hybrid SUV that can be acquired with minimal waiting time.

Toyota Vellfire

The Vellfire MPV is a choice for individuals looking for a Toyota with a roomy cabin, but it has a lengthier waiting time. The delivery period for the opulent Vellfire, which likewise features a 2.5-liter gasoline engine, is about a year. With starting prices at Rs 1.20 crore (ex-showroom), the Vellfire is a high-end model in Toyota's hybrid lineup.

Toyota Innova Hycross:

Those wishing to purchase a Toyota Innova Hycross hybrid will have to wait the longest—roughly 14 months for delivery. This implies that you might not be able to drive an Innova Hycross hybrid home until July 2025 if you buy one now. For those who are prepared to wait, the hybrid MPV models are priced between Rs 25.97 lakh and Rs 30.98 lakh (ex-showroom).

It is important to remember that these wait times are averages and could change based on the dealership and location. For the most precise and current information on waiting periods in their area, prospective purchasers are urged to get in touch with the Toyota dealership that is closest to them.
