Tata Nexon Cng Set To Redefine The Segment 5 Advantages Over Maruti Brezza Cng

Tata Nexon CNG Set to Redefine the Segment: 5 Advantages Over Maruti Brezza CNG

In a move set to shake up the subcompact SUV segment, Tata Motors is gearing up to introduce the much-anticipated Tata Nexon CNG. Following its recent facelift, which brought a refreshed appearance and a slew of new features, the Nexon is now poised to offer even more with its forthcoming CNG variant. Unveiled in concept form at the 2024 Bharat Mobility Expo, the Nexon CNG promises several advantages over its closest competitor, the Maruti Brezza CNG.

Stylish Design Elements:

While the Maruti Brezza boasts a solid and mature design, the Tata Nexon stands out with its sleek and contemporary styling. With eye-catching LED daytime running lights, aerodynamically designed alloy wheels, and a sporty silhouette accentuated by a sloping roofline, the Nexon exudes a distinct sense of style compared to the Brezza's conventional boxy appearance.

More Features, Including Bigger Infotainment:

The top-spec variant of the Tata Nexon CNG is expected to come loaded with features, including a generous 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a premium 9-speaker JBL sound system, and a panoramic sunroof. Safety is also a priority, with six airbags as standard and the convenience of a 360-degree camera.

Twin Cylinder Technology:

Incorporating Tata's renowned twin-cylinder technology, the Nexon CNG utilizes two smaller CNG cylinders positioned beneath the boot bed. This innovative layout maximizes usable boot space, offering a substantial 230 litres compared to the Brezza's single-cylinder setup, which encroaches upon the cargo room.

Turbocharged Petrol-CNG Engine:

A groundbreaking feature of the Nexon CNG is its turbocharged petrol-CNG engine, a first in India's CNG segment. With power figures yet to be unveiled, it is anticipated to surpass the Brezza CNG's output. Drawing from Tata's 1.2-litre turbo unit, which delivers 120 PS and 170 Nm, the Nexon CNG promises an exhilarating driving experience.

Option of CNG Automatic:

Setting another milestone, the Nexon CNG may offer the convenience of an AMT (automatic) transmission—a first in the subcompact SUV CNG segment. Building upon Tata's pioneering efforts in CNG technology, this feature adds an extra layer of convenience, catering to diverse driving preferences.

Expected Prices:

While pricing details are yet to be confirmed, the Tata Nexon CNG is projected to command a premium of up to Rs 1 lakh over its petrol counterparts. With the Nexon's turbo-petrol variants priced between Rs 8.15 lakh and Rs 15 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the Nexon CNG is poised to offer exceptional value in the burgeoning CNG segment.

With its cutting-edge features, innovative technology, and competitive pricing, the Tata Nexon CNG is poised to redefine the subcompact SUV landscape, offering discerning consumers an unparalleled blend of style, performance, and efficiency. Stay tuned for further updates as Tata Motors gears up to launch this game-changing offering.
