Ola has launched the S1 Pro Gen 2 and S1 X, prices start at Rs. 1.48 lakh and Rs. 89,999 respectively
The Ola S1 Pro Gen 2 and S1 X has been launched at a price of Rs. 1.48 lakh and Rs 89,999 respectively, both prices are ex-showroom. The updates for the S1 Pro Gen 2 includes the motor, the older motor produced 5.5 kW continuous and 8.5 kW of peak output, the new gen S1 Pro makes 5 kW continuous and 11 kW of peak output. The company now claims a top speed of 120 kmph and a 0-40 kmph dash in just 2.6 seconds. Courtesy of this goes to the new power figures.
The claimed riding range is now 195 km on a single charge, and true range on Eco mode is a claimed 180 km. The battery capacity remains the same, a 4 kWh battery which can be charged from 0-100 per cent in 6.5 hours, no changes there.
Other updates include the new telescopic front suspension, flat floorboard, and reduction in weight(116kg) and boot space(34-litres), 5 kg and 2-litres respectively.
The Ola S1 Pro Gen 2 bookings are open and deliveries are expected to commence from mid-September, before the festive season kicks off.
The Ola S1 X is the entry level offering from the company and it gets three variants - S1 X, S1 X and the S1 X+. Prices for the same start at Rs. 89,999 for the base variant which houses a 2 kWh battery, the mid variant houses a 3 kWh battery and will set you back by Rs. 99,999 and the top model X+ will cost you Rs. 1.09 lakh. All the models come with a discount of Rs. 10,000 till August 21st.
The output for the X1 is rated for 6 kW and a claimed top speed of 90 kmph. The company also claims a 0-40 kmph sprint in 3.3 seconds. These are for the middle-spec and top variant model of the X1. The base model with the 2 kWh battery has a top speed of 85 kmph and a 0-40 kmph dash in 4.1 seconds. The base model gets a riding range of 91 km and the other two models get 151 km of claimed riding range.
