By 2027, three new models will be part of Nissan India's updated product strategy.
The Gravite MPV will debut in early 2026, followed by the Tekton SUV and a bigger SUV with seven seats.
Nissan India has disclosed its plan to launch three new models over the next two years in order to significantly increase its market share in the Indian auto industry. This represents a significant change from its more subdued recent years, when the Magnite compact SUV made up the majority of its inventory. The company's goal to broaden its product offerings and better satisfy Indian consumers is reflected in the updated strategy.
Gravite MPV Takes the Lead
The Gravite, a family-friendly seven-seater B-segment MPV, is the first car on Nissan's new roadmap. The Gravite, which is scheduled to be unveiled in January 2026 and put on sale in early 2026, is anticipated to meet the rising demand for adaptable, family-friendly vehicles.
Designed on the same base as the Renault Triber, the Gravite offers Indian families modular seating and utility while introducing a new Nissan identity with improved external style.
Nissan's renewed attempt to participate in the people-mover market, which is fiercely competitive and appealing to budget-conscious consumers, will be represented by this MPV.
Tekton, a mid-size SUV
In the middle of 2026, Nissan will introduce the Tekton SUV after the Gravite. The Tekton is positioned as a mid-size SUV and is intended to compete in one of the most well-liked car categories in India.
The Tekton seeks to provide buyers looking for flair, capability, and value in their next car with a daring and unique SUV alternative by drawing from the worldwide CMF-B platform and sharing many foundations with the Renault Duster.
2027's New 7-Seater SUV
In 2026, Nissan will continue to expand its product line. Additionally, the company announced intentions to launch a larger SUV with seven seats in early 2027. This new SUV is expected to be a distinctive product rather than merely an expanded version of the previous model, despite being built on a well-known design such as the Tekton platform.
Beyond the Selection of Products
In order to promote the upcoming vehicles and improve customer relations, Nissan is expanding its retail and service network in India as part of a larger strategy that encompasses these releases. The business is still dedicated to expanding its presence and significance in one of the fastest-growing automotive marketplaces in the world.
