Mini Countryman Electric SUV Bookings Open

Mini India has officially started accepting bookings for the upcoming all-electric Mini Countryman on its website. The electric version of this popular SUV is expected to hit the Indian market in the coming weeks.

Mini Countryman Electric: Platform, Exterior, and Interior

Platform

The Mini Countryman has traditionally been available with a petrol powertrain in India. The new electric version of the Countryman shares its platform with the BMW iX1, positioning it as a direct competitor to other premium electric SUVs.

Exterior

The new Mini Countryman Electric showcases several design updates similar to the new Cooper, including an octagonal front grille and revamped headlights and tail-lights. These updates give the vehicle a fresh and modern look while maintaining its iconic Mini identity.

Interior

Inside, the Mini Countryman Electric adopts a minimalist design approach. The dashboard is dominated by a round touchscreen, providing a sleek and modern interface. Key features include:

  • The gear selector is located on the panel below the infotainment screen.

  • Handbrake button.

  • Turn-key starter.

  • Driving mode selector.

  • Audio-control dial.

The new Countryman Electric also boasts advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), an in-car camera, electric seat adjustment with a massage function for the driver, and more.
