Maruti Fronx Gets Pricier: Check New Variant-Wise Prices and Engine Options

Maruti Suzuki has increased the prices of its Fronx compact SUV by ₹2,500 across all variants, following its April 2025 hike announcement. The new ex-showroom price now starts from ₹7.54 lakh and goes up to ₹13.06 lakh. The Fronx is available in multiple variants with petrol and CNG powertrains.

Presenting its official update for the prices of its popular crossover SUV, the Fronx, Maruti Suzuki announced a general price increase for the first time this year. The car now costs ₹2,500 more than before in all variants, with the new ex-showroom starting price being set at ₹7.54 lakh and going up to ₹13.06 lakh for the top-end trim.

Maruti Fronx: Variant-Wise Pricing

Launched in April 2023, Fronx gradually entered the market and gained prominence in the highly competitive compact SUV category against the likes of Toyota Taisor. It caters to six variants- Sigma, Delta, Delta+, Delta+(O), Zeta, and Alpha. The price hike affects all the variants irrespective of the engine or fuel type.

The latest to have its price ascended is an addition to the Maruti lineup, following the upward revision price of the XL6 and other products this month.

  • 1.2-litre petrol engine with a CNG option aimed toward budget-friendly and eco-friendly buyers.

  • This line has tigeret performance-focused customer through a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol BoosterJet engine.

  • Transmission options are manual, AMT (Auto Gear Shift), or 6-speed automatic depending on the variant and engine configuration.

Uses and Style: Practical and Stylish

And despite the price hike, the Fronx maintains relatively appealing looks with its long, bolted design, compact SUV stance & features onboard. With such a fine alignment, Maruti has made a pretty widened service network, best mileage, and very sturdy engineering to contribute to its overall appeal.

It is clear from this price adjustment that Maruti is taking steps to realign its portfolio elements that now bear the brunt of rising input costs while still keeping Fronx in the competitive race of its segment. For those intending to purchase, they should do so soon because price increases may follow.
