Maruti Alto K10 And S Presso Now Equipped With Esp As A Standard

Maruti Alto K10 and S-Presso Now Equipped with ESP as a Standard

Maruti Suzuki India has upgraded its most affordable models, the Alto K10 and S-Presso, by adding the Electronic Stability Program (ESP) as a standard feature. With this update, all models in Maruti Suzuki's lineup now come equipped with ESP, reinforcing the brand's commitment to safety without increasing prices.

The Alto K10 is priced between Rs 3.99 lakh and Rs 5.96 lakh (ex-showroom), while the S-Presso falls within the Rs 4.26 lakh to Rs 6.11 lakh (ex-showroom) range. Despite the significant safety enhancement, the prices for these models remain unchanged.

Enhanced Safety with ESP

The ESP system is designed to counteract skidding, helping the vehicle maintain its intended path of motion. By integrating the ABS, traction control system, and stability control, ESP uses a series of sensors to monitor the vehicle's movement. The data collected is processed by an electronic control unit, which then adjusts the vehicle's trajectory to improve stability and control, especially in challenging driving conditions.

Maruti Suzuki's Commitment to Safety

Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive Officer of Marketing and Sales at Maruti Suzuki India, highlighted the company's dedication to democratizing advanced features. "The addition of ESP as a standard feature across our product portfolio significantly increases the value proposition of our vehicles. This step ensures our customers benefit from enhanced safety and driving confidence, regardless of the model they choose," he stated.

Banerjee further emphasized Maruti Suzuki's philosophy of making advanced technology accessible to all, underscoring the brand's commitment to delivering high-quality vehicles that cater to the diverse needs of Indian consumers.

Comprehensive Safety Features

In addition to the ESP, the standard safety suite in Maruti Suzuki vehicles includes dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors, engine immobilizer, the Heartect platform, and a collapsible steering column. These features collectively ensure a safer driving experience for all Maruti Suzuki customers.
