In a surprising move, Mahindra has reduced the prices of its popular XUV700 SUV by up to Rs. 2.2 lakh, specifically for the top-spec AX7 and AX7L variants last month. Now, the company has announced further price cuts for additional variants, effective immediately.
Significant Price Reductions
The Mahindra XUV700 AX5 Diesel AT 7S variant has received the most significant price cut of Rs. 70,000, bringing its new price to Rs. 20.39 lakh. In addition, the AX5 Petrol MT 7S, AX5 Petrol MT 7S with ESP, and AX5 Diesel MT 7S variants have all seen a uniform price reduction of Rs. 50,000 each.
Additional Price Cuts
The AX3 Diesel AT 7S and AX5 Diesel AT 5S variants in the XUV700 lineup have also received a price reduction of Rs. 20,000 each. With these revisions, the Mahindra XUV700 range is now priced between Rs. 13.99 lakh and Rs. 26.04 lakh (ex-showroom).
Future Outlook
Beyond these updates, Mahindra is also planning to launch an electric version of the XUV700, which will be called the XUV.e8. This model is expected to hit the market in the near future, further expanding the XUV700 lineup.
