Mahindra Thar Roxx MX1 Base Variant Key Features and Specifications Revealed

Mahindra has recently unveiled 2024 Thar Roxx, a highly anticipated SUV. Its base variant, MX1 is priced at Rs. 12.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This entry-level model offers a host of features. These features combine style, performance and safety. They make it an attractive option for SUV enthusiasts

Exterior Features:

The exterior of Thar Roxx MX1 base variant is designed to impress. It features dual-tone metal top that adds rugged touch to the SUV's appearance. Additionally LED projector headlamps and LED tail lights enhance visibility. They give the vehicle a modern look. The 18-inch steel wheels further complement robust design. This ensures Thar Roxx stands out on the road.

Interior Comfort and Technology:

The Thar Roxx MX1 comes equipped with a range of comfort and technology features. The 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system offers seamless connectivity. The engine start-stop button adds convenience. Rear AC vents and USB Type-C charging ports ensure passenger comfort on long journeys. The SUV also includes 60:40 split rear seats. A height-adjustable driver seat and fabric upholstery enhance both practicality and comfort

Safety and Technology Features:

Safety is priority in Thar Roxx MX1. It includes features such as Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and brake locking differential. Notably six airbags are standard across the variant lineup. This ensures high levels of protection for occupants

Engine Options and Performance:

The Thar Roxx MX1 base variant is available with two engine options. The 2.0-litre mStallion turbo-petrol engine generates 160bhp. It produces 330 Nm of torque and offers a powerful performance. Alternatively the 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine produces 150bhp. It also delivers 330 Nm of torque. Both engine options come with a six-speed manual transmission and are available in 4x2 configuration. This makes the SUV capable and versatile.

The Mahindra Thar Roxx MX1 base variant offers a well-rounded package with its blend of style comfort, safety and performance. Priced competitively at Rs. 12.99 lakh. It is set to appeal to adventure enthusiasts and city dwellers alike.
