Mahindra’s next big move in early 2024 will be its launch of XUV300 which was recently spotted on the road. It is expected that XUV300 will be going through major external styling with no major mechanical changes in the update.
Since there will be no mechanical changes to take place, XUV300 will continue to be powered by the same 110hp and 131hp, 1.2-litre, three-cylinder turbo-petrol units, as well as the 117hp, 1.5-litre diesel engine. Transmission options could include a six-speed manual unit and an AMT unit.
It can be assumed that the exteriors will feature typical Mahindra BE looks competing with the design trends. It is also likely to get an LED DRL as an outline either above the headlamp or vertically. There is likely to be a piano-shaped black surface with a large Mahindra "twin peaks" logo in the upper center section. The bumper will be divided into two sections with additional air inlets at each. The exteriors may resemble XUV700 as the final design would feature several matte-black finishes.
The interior would offer a larger touchscreen infotainment system, measuring around 10 inch-screens, the screen likely has buttons specifically for infotainment-related functions like volume control. Besides everything, XUV300 may also include a fully digital instrument cluster.
Mahindra’s XUV300 will be priced anywhere between Rs. 9.00 - 15.00 Lakh giving a neck-to-neck fight to its competitors as it is completely evident by its exterior and interior transformation with such an affordable pricing.
