Mahindra Xev 9e Be 6e Global Debut Tomorrow Price And Features

Mahindra XEV 9e, BE 6e Global Debut Tomorrow – Price & Features

Mahindra & Mahindra is gearing up for the global launch of its first born-electric SUVs, the XEV 9e and BE 6e, on November 26, 2024. These electric SUVs are based on the innovative INGLO EV platform, which Mahindra co-developed with Volkswagen. This state-of-the-art architecture features a skateboard layout that ensures a flat floor, optimizing interior space while enhancing handling with a low center of gravity.

The INGLO platform also incorporates advanced features like semi-active suspension, brake-by-wire technology, and an updated electric power steering system, making these SUVs a significant milestone in Mahindra’s EV journey.

Mahindra XEV 9e: A Bold New Era

Design and Exterior

The XEV 9e is essentially the electric version of the XUV700, adopting a sleek coupe-style body. Its striking design includes:

  • Redesigned headlamps, a revised bumper, and a blanked-off grille with an LED light bar.

  • Aero-optimized dual-tone alloy wheels and gloss-black cladding on flared wheel arches.

  • The rear design complements the front with an LED light bar, giving it a futuristic edge.

Interior and Features

Inside, the XEV 9e offers a blend of luxury and technology, including:

  • A triple-screen setup, with an infotainment system, instrument cluster, and passenger display.

  • Panoramic sunroof featuring segment-first patterned lighting.

  • Dolby Atmos-enabled 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system for an immersive audio experience.

  • Advanced driver-assistance features with Level 2 ADAS, 5G connectivity, and in-car cameras.

Powertrain and Performance

  • Expected to feature 59kWh and 79kWh battery options.

  • Power output ranges between 228bhp and 281bhp.

  • Capable of charging from 20% to 80% in just 20 minutes using a 175kW DC fast charger.

Mahindra BE 6e: Aggressive and Futuristic

Design and Exterior

The BE 6e, the production version of the BE 05 concept, stands out with its bold styling:

  • C-shaped LED DRLs surrounding the headlamps.

  • A closed-off front grille heavily flared wheel arches and aero-optimized alloy wheels.

Interior and Features

The BE 6e’s cockpit-inspired design offers a futuristic vibe with:

  • Dual floating infotainment screens and a twin-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo.

  • Comfort features such as ventilated seats, ambient lighting, wireless charging, and multiple drive modes.

Powertrain and Performance

  • Utilizes the same 59kWh and 79kWh battery packs as the XEV 9e.

  • Includes a compact three-in-one powertrain integrating the motor, inverter, and transmission.

Price Expectations

While official prices will be announced tomorrow, industry estimates suggest:

  • Mahindra BE 6e: Rs 20 lakh to 30 lakh.

  • Mahindra XEV 9e: Rs 30 lakh to 35 lakh.

These SUVs showcase Mahindra’s commitment to innovation, blending advanced technology with premium features to cater to both performance enthusiasts and everyday users. With their launch, Mahindra is set to redefine India’s electric SUV market. Stay tuned for detailed specifications and official pricing updates!
