Lexus's New RX 350h "Exquisite" Variant Provides a More Accessible Entry-Point

The RX 350h Exquisite, which costs ₹89.99 lakh (ex-showroom), is a new entry-level version of Lexus's RX hybrid SUV that has been unveiled in India. While maintaining the luxury, comfort, and hybrid efficiency for which the vehicle is renowned, this new grade is intended to make the RX line more affordable. The Exquisite model enhances Lexus' standing in the premium SUV market with features such as a roomy cabin, cutting-edge safety systems, high-end equipment, and a sophisticated hybrid drivetrain.

  • The new Lexus RX 350h Exquisite model will be available in India for ₹89.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

  • Key features, powertrain details and how this new trim affects the whole lineup and pricing of the Lexus RX series.

The Exquisite variation of the RX 350h series, which starts at ₹89.99 lakh (ex-showroom), is a new grade that Lexus India has added to its RX SUV lineup. This version is intended to make the luxury hybrid SUV more accessible to consumers and is positioned as the new entry-level choice in the RX series.

Customers can choose to add a premium 21-speaker audio kit to the base trim for about ₹ 2 lakh, making the higher-spec Exquisite's on-paper price approximately ₹ 92.02 lakh.

What's inside and what's under the hood

The RX 350h Exquisite's hybrid drivetrain, which consists of a 2.5-liter inline-four petrol engine, an electric motor, and a nickel-metal hydride battery, is the same as that of its predecessors. The combined output of this configuration offers smooth power delivery, effective performance, and the sophisticated drive typical of a high-end hybrid SUV.

Comfort and convenience are given top priority inside the cabin. The Exquisite specification has a roomy interior, ambient lighting, heated and ventilated seats in both the front and rear rows, and ten-way power-adjustable front seats with memory.

A 360-degree camera, a Level-2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) suite, and multiple airbags; these safety and driver assistance elements are still a part of the RX experience.

Effect on RX Prices and Line-up

The RX series now provides more varied pricing thanks to this innovation. The new base price for the RX 350h Exquisite is ₹ 89.99 lakh. The top-tier, performance-focused Lexus RX 500h F-Sport+ is still available at ₹ 1.09 crore (ex-showroom), while the updated RX 350h with Mark Levinson audio is priced at ₹ 92.02 lakh.

In order to make the RX more affordable for a wider range of consumers while maintaining hybrid technology, comfort, and high-end equipment, Lexus has introduced a trim that is far less expensive than the previous basic variation. This approach is anticipated by observers to bolster RX's position in the Indian luxury SUV market, which has grown steadily this year.

All things considered, the RX 350h Exquisite offers an alluring combination of luxury, efficiency, and affordability, making it a viable choice for consumers looking for a high-end SUV that is now more affordable.
