If You Are An Environmentalist These 4 Cng Suvs Are Made For You

If you are an environmentalist, these 4 CNG SUVs are made for you

The different parts of India are witnessing harsh weather conditions and unpredictable climatic changes. In summer, Delhi in the morning witnesses scorching heat, and by evening there is heavy rainfall. On the other hand, South India sees floods during the summer season. The harsh fact of global warming is upon us, yet many people still choose to ignore it.

Every year, the quality of the air drops to previously unheard-of levels, making life intolerable. Imagine being able to buy your dream SUV without having to worry about being labeled as a gas-guzzler at a time when the automotive industry is closely inspected for air pollution. Here are the top 4 CNG SUVs that are not only stylish, and reliable but are environment-friendly.

Tata Punch

Price: Rs 7.23 lakh to Rs 9.85 lakh

The well-liked Punch is one of the CNG-powered vehicles that Tata Motors has been advocating for. On the list, this tiny SUV is the least expensive CNG alternative. It has five different trim levels and a 1.2-liter engine that, when running on compressed natural gas (CNG), generates 72.5 horsepower and 103 Nm of torque.

With 60-liter twin-cylinder CNG tanks and a 5-speed manual gearbox, the engine provides 210 liters of usable boot space. A voice-activated sunroof, a 7-inch touchscreen system, a six-speaker Harman music system, rain-sensing wipers, 16-inch alloy wheels, a reverse parking camera, several charging connections, and other goodies are all included in the Punch CNG.

Hyundai Exter

Price: Rs 8.43 lakh and Rs 9.16 lakh

Hyundai's entry-level SUV, the Exter, is among the top ten best-selling cars in the nation. The S and SX are the two versions that are offered. The CNG versions come equipped with an 8-inch entertainment system, adjustable rear headrests, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, LED DRLs, LED taillights, and a type-C fast charger. A 1.2-liter engine, producing 68 horsepower and 95.2 Nm in CNG mode and 82 bhp and 113.8 Nm in petrol, powers the Exter. It has a 60-liter CNG tank and a 5-speed manual transmission linked to it.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx

Price: Rs 8.46 lakh and Rs 9.32 lakh

Brezza and Fronx, Maruti Suzuki's coupe SUVs, have both contributed to the company's rise in the SUV industry. The Fronx CNG is available in two different models: Sigma and Delta. Its 1.2-liter gasoline engine produces 88.5 bhp and 113 Nm while running on gasoline, and 76 bhp and 98.5 Nm when running on CNG. The engine has a 55-liter CNG tank and is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission.

Maruti Suzuki Brezza

Price: Rs 9.29 lakh to Rs 12.10 lakh

The LXI, VXI, and ZXI trim levels of Maruti Suzuki's best-selling SUV is the Brezza. Twin airbags, a seven-inch infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a six-speaker Arkamy's music system, a rearview camera with rear parking sensors, and more are included. With a 1.5-liter petrol engine that produces 99 horsepower and 136 Nm when running on gasoline and 86.6 horsepower and 121.5 Nm when running on compressed natural gas, the Brezza CNG boasts the largest engine on the list. The engine has a 55-liter CNG tank capacity and is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission.

Finally, for those looking to purchase a car but still want to minimize their carbon footprint, these four CNG SUVs provide a variety of possibilities. While the Hyundai Exter and Maruti Suzuki Fronx offer a combination of features and pricing, the Tata Punch is the most economical choice. With its bigger engine, the Maruti Suzuki Brezza is the most potent vehicle on our list. These SUVs range in price from Rs 7.23 lakh to Rs 12.10 lakh, making them both cost-effective and environmentally friendly.
