Hyundai Staria MPV Set to Debut at Auto Expo 2025 in India

The Hyundai Staria, already a hit in global markets, is ready to captivate Indian audiences with its futuristic design, advanced features, and versatile seating options at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025.

Hyundai Staria: A Futuristic and Practical MPV

The New Edition of Hyundai’s MPV Staria is planned to be presented at the Automotive Multimedia Fair Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 in New Delhi. This much-anticipated model, commonly seen in the international markets, stands out for its modern styling, flexibility for seating options and loaded with features inside. Currently the carmaker has no plans to bring the Staria into the country, but the event is aimed at measuring market potential.

Design and Exterior Highlights

The Hyundai Staria boasts a futuristic design inspired by spaceships:

  • Front fascia: Characterized by a horizontal LED light bar and a wide grilleamin.

  • Clean profile: Modern design, especially it features large glass windows which make the cabin as open as possible.

  • Rear styling: Pixelated detailing can be seen on vertical LED taillights.

Engine and Powertrain Options

Globally, the Staria offers multiple powertrain choices, including:

  1. Hybrid System

  2. 1.6L turbo petrol engine with additional electric motor coupled to the engine with instant torque.

  3. Combined output of 242 hp and 367 Nm.

  4. Economical and delivers better output than the 3.5L V6 petrol engine.

  5. Diesel and Petrol Variants:

  6. V6 petrol car and diesel car engines with dazzling power output.

Interior and Features

The Staria’s cabin is a blend of practicality and luxury. The features of it are:

  • Technology:

  • The touchscreen infotainment system reads 25 inches.

  • Digital cockpit and fully digital instrument cluster.

  • As mentioned previously, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).

  • Comfort and Convenience:

  • Heated and ventilated seats.

  • Automatic climate control.

  • Smart key with Front Parking Sensors.

  • Automatic sliding doors.

  • Innovative Practicality:

  • Seating in the second row – individual bulky lounge seats, which turn the second-row captain seats into relaxation mode.

  • Floor-mounted slider in LCV trims and luggage partition table in selected LCV trims.

  • Extra utility is formed by the multi-hanger fixed to the tailgate.

Pricing and Variants

The South Korean market Tourer variant sells for around ₩36,530,000 or ₹21.5 lakh. There are options for 9 or 11 passengers, which will come in handy in transportation for many families or commercially.

Conclusion

The monotonous look of the Hyundai Staria with the feature-filled interior will compel auto enthusiasts to visit the Auto Expo 2025. Whether Hyundai decides to bring it to India is still unclear, but its launch will most certainly generate some buzz around MPVs. The upcoming real updates will come from Hall 11 Bharat Mandapam New Delhi!
