Exterior Design

The facelifted Alcazar features a redesigned front with H-shaped LED Daytime Running Lamps connected by a light bar and a larger grille with horizontal slats. The updated bumper includes a larger air intake with prominent silver trim. The SUV gets new 18-inch alloy wheels and functional roof rails. At the rear, the Alcazar sports full-width tail-lamps with an H motif and silver highlights on the bumpers, giving it a sporty appearance.

The Alcazar facelift is available in nine exterior colors, including Titan Grey Matte, Starry Night, Ranger Khaki, Abyss Black, Atlas White, Robust Emerald Pearl, Robust Emerald Matte, and Fiery Red. The dual-tone option features an Atlas White body with an Abyss Black roof.

Interior and Features

Inside, the Alcazar facelift adopts the dashboard layout from the Creta facelift, with dual 10.25-inch infotainment screens and a digital instrument cluster. It also introduces a new dual-tone tan and dark blue color scheme. Significant updates include the removal of the fixed center console in the 6-seater variant, providing more space between the captain seats. The second-row seats now feature extendable thigh support, ventilation, and a ‘boss mode’ function to adjust the front passenger seat from the rear. Additional features include rear sunshades, fold-out tray tables, and ADAS for enhanced safety.

Other notable features include a voice-activated panoramic sunroof, powered front seats, wireless charging pads, leatherette upholstery, a Bose sound system, dual-zone climate control, rain-sensing wipers, sequential turn indicators, on-board navigation, connected features, a 360-degree camera, six airbags, and ESC.

Powertrain and Specs

The Alcazar facelift retains the 1.5-liter turbo-petrol and 1.5-liter diesel engines. The turbo-petrol engine delivers 160 hp and 253 Nm, available with a 6-speed manual or 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The diesel engine produces 116hp and 250Nm, paired with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearbox. Both engines feature front-wheel drive and multiple drive and traction control modes for various terrains. Automatic variants also come with paddle shifters.

The Hyundai Alcazar will continue to compete with rivals such as the Tata Safari, Mahindra XUV700, and MG Hector Plus.
