Honda Extends Amaze Introductory Pricing Until January 31

Honda Amaze continues to attract buyers with its feature-packed offerings, competitive pricing, and advanced safety tech. The extended pricing timeline provides buyers more time to grab the deal.

Honda India has announced that the introductory pricing for the Amaze will remain in place until January 31, 2025. The third-generation Honda Amaze, which was launched on December 4, 2024, starts at Rs 8 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This compact sedan comes with new styling, updated interiors, and a range of features that promise value for money.

Refreshed Styling and Feature-Packed Interiors

The new Honda Amaze brings a fresh look to the compact sedan segment. Its redesigned exterior gives it a more modern and premium appearance. Inside, the sedan is equipped with advanced features, many of which are borrowed from its bigger siblings, the Honda Elevate SUV and City sedan.

Key Features of the Honda Amaze

  • 8-inch Touchscreen Display: The infotainment system ensures seamless connectivity and user-friendly controls.

  • Camera-Based ADAS: A standout safety feature, the Amaze is the only car in its segment offering this technology.

  • Comfort and Convenience: With features like automatic climate control and a spacious cabin, the Amaze ensures a pleasant driving experience.

Powertrain Options and Performance

The Honda Amaze is powered by a 1.2-liter petrol engine, delivering a smooth and efficient drive. Buyers can choose between two gearbox options:

  • Manual Transmission: For a more hands-on driving experience.

  • CVT Automatic: Offers convenience, especially in city traffic.

This versatile powertrain ensures the Amaze caters to a wide range of customer preferences.

Competitive Pricing Against Rivals

Honda has strategically priced the Amaze to compete with popular compact sedans like the Maruti Dzire, Hyundai Aura, and Tata Tigor.

Here’s a breakdown of its pricing as of January 21, 2025:

VariantPetrol-MTPetrol-CVT
VRs 8.00 lakhRs 9.20 lakh
VXRs 9.10 lakhRs 10.00 lakh
ZXRs 9.70 lakhRs 10.90 lakh

While the Amaze offers competitive pricing, sales have been slightly lower than expected. Industry experts believe this is due to the growing popularity of compact SUVs among private buyers, with sedans primarily catering to fleet operators. However, dealers are optimistic about sales picking up in the coming months.

Dealer-Fitted CNG: A Unique Offering

Unlike its competitors, which offer factory-fitted CNG options, Honda provides dealer-installed CNG kits for the Amaze. These kits, installed through authorized dealers, come with a full factory warranty, ensuring peace of mind for buyers. This option is available for both the current and previous-generation Amaze models.

Why Choose Dealer-Fitted CNG?

  • Warranty Protection: A full factory warranty ensures reliability.

  • Eco-Friendly Option: Ideal for cost-conscious buyers looking for a greener alternative.

A Strong Contender in the Segment

With its refreshed design, advanced safety features, and flexible powertrain options, the Honda Amaze is a solid competitor in the compact sedan market. Its extension of introductory pricing allows buyers more time to take advantage of its value-packed offerings.

In conclusion, The Honda Amaze continues to be an attractive option for sedan buyers, combining practicality, safety, and modern features. If you’re in the market for a compact sedan, this extended pricing window is an excellent opportunity to consider the Amaze.
