Factory-approved CNG kits for the Nissan Magnite AMT are now available, with prices starting at ₹71,999

The expansion of the retrofitment program of Nissan Motor India makes Magnite one of the compact SUVs to offer factory-approved CNG retrofitment in both manual and AMT versions. The CNG kits are available at ₹71,999.

The Magnite EZ-Shift (AMT) models are now one of the few small SUVs in India to come with an automatic CNG option, thanks to Nissan Motor India's factory-approved CNG retrofit kit. In addition to the advantages of the lower GST rate (18% from 28%), the refit kit costs ₹71,999.

Expanded Variety of CNG

With this update, Magnite's CNG range now offers both manual and AMT (EZ-Shift) modes. For the base Visia trim, the Magnite CNG AMT costs ₹6.89 lakh (ex-showroom), while the top-end Tekna+ costs ₹9.70 lakh (ex-showroom). Prices for the manual-CNG models range from ₹6.34 lakh to ₹9.20 lakh.

Available in 13 states through authorized Nissan service centers, the retrofit kits guarantee correct installation and warranty protection.

Engine and Performance

The Magnite CNG is powered by the same 1.0-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine, which generates 72 PS and 96 Nm of torque. Smooth operation with the AMT gearbox is ensured by the power statistics staying constant.

In addition to the 3-year/1,000,000-kilometer guarantee that comes with the package. Customers can choose to take advantage of Nissan's new 10-year extended warranty plan, which is the longest in its class.

Upgraded Refueling Design

The integrated fuel lid is one significant improvement; it now contains the CNG filling valve, removing the need to access the engine bay in order to refuel. For everyday users, this design increases Magnite CNG's convenience and safety.

Safety and Features

Similar to its gasoline-powered version, the Magnite CNG AMT has a 5-star GNCAP safety rating, six airbags, and a feature-rich cockpit that includes a rear camera, touchscreen infotainment system, and linked car technology.

Why It Is Important

With this launch, Nissan's value offer in India's expanding small SUV market is strengthened. The combination of autonomous ease and CNG efficiency makes the Magnite an even more sensible option for urban customers on a tight budget.
