Everything About the Brand New 4 door Force Gurkha That Will Rival Thar

Force Motors has given a sneak peek of the awaited launch of a 5-door model of the Gurkha, which has been, in development for quite some time. This announcement marks the introduction of this edition into a market segment. The upcoming 5-door Gurkha is expected to make its debut alongside an upgrade for the 3-door model. Force Motors' new addition aims to rival competitors like the Maruti Jimny and the to-be-released 5-door Mahindra Thar.

Key Features of the Exterior Design of the 5-door Force Gurkha; The recent teaser images reveal the outline of the 5-door Gurkha featuring a shape with tall pillars and a flat roofline. The teaser hints at an expansive window area divided into three panels on each side. Standout exterior elements include LED headlamps, with built-in DRLs giving off a visual appeal. At the back, vertical LED taillights enhance its look. Moreover, speculation suggests that the 5-door variant may come equipped with 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, updated front and rear bumpers, and an elongated body compared to its 3-door sibling.

Enhancements, like a wheel mounted on the tailgate a luggage rack on the roof jerry cans, and a snorkel all add to the tough image of this lifestyle vehicle.

The expected powertrain for the 5-door Force Gurkha includes a 2.6-liter four-cylinder turbo diesel engine producing 90 bhp and 250 Nm of torque. This sturdy engine is paired with a five-speed gearbox for driving. The torque is effectively distributed to all four wheels via a low-range transfer case with additional support from locking differentials to boost off-road capabilities.

With these improvements and upgrades, the 5-door Force Gurkha is set to offer a mix of performance rugged charm, and off-road prowess, in the SUV market.
