Europe Spec Citroen Revealed How Is It Different From India Spec

Europe-spec Citroen revealed: How is it different from India-spec?

Citroen C3 Aircross has been revealed in the European Market. This newly teased car has shown many similarities to that of the India-spec model. Ever since its launch the difference between both cars has been the talk of the Indian Automotive market. This version of the mid-size SUV will be available with both fully electric and gasoline drivetrains to accommodate a wide variety of customer needs. The European-spec C3 Aircross, which is expected to be released throughout Europe later this year, differs significantly from its Indian equivalent in terms of design, interiors, and powertrains.

Exterior Design Distinctions

The external design of the Europe-spec and India-spec vehicles is where the most notable differences can be found. The European equivalent has additional creases, giving the SUV a more assertive appearance. A completely redesigned front fascia featuring a sealed-off nose with Citroen's new logo in the centre gives the design a sharper edge. Redesigned C-shaped headlight clusters with multiple LED DRLs and tri-LED projector lights surround a streamlined radiator grille outlet beneath the nose. The massive air dam located in the extensively reprofiled front bumper has the same pattern as the Citroen double-chevron emblem. The SUV has a beefier look and a firmer posture thanks to the faux bash plate and noticeable cuts.

Interior Features and Dimensions

Although Citroen has not yet released interior photos, we anticipate the C3 Aircross to have more features and be more contemporary than the India-spec variant. Furthermore, the Europe-spec C3 Aircross is 4.39 meters longer than the India-spec variant, which is 4.32 meters shorter. Better internal room should result from this, particularly for the third row.

Versatile Powertrain Options

Citroen has confirmed that the European-spec C3 Aircross will be offered in both gasoline and electric variants to meet different customer preferences. It is expected that the 48V mild hybrid powertrain will be paired with the same 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine seen in the petrol variant. Both more production and improved fuel efficiency could come from this.

It is anticipated that the 44kWh battery from the smaller eC3, which supports up to 100 kW DC fast charging, will be borrowed by the all-electric C3 Aircross. The Europe-spec C3 Aircross is built on Citroën's "Smart Car Platform," just like the C3 and eC3.
