BYD Atto 3 EV introduced with new Features

The BYD Atto 3 has seen one upgrade after being on sale in India in November 2022. More features and new exterior color options were added to the upgraded model, which was released in July of last year. Although the improvements are more substantial this time, BYD has already released another update for the EV. It is anticipated that the new Atto 3 will ultimately be introduced in India.

After going on sale in India in November 2022, the BYD Atto 3 has seen one upgrade. The updated model debuted in July last year came with new exterior color options and additional amenities. BYD has previously released another update for the EV, but this time the improvements are more significant.

The news has sparked that the new Atto 3 is expected to be released in India, finally.

Exterior Updates in the Atto 3 EV

The redesigned Atto 3's exterior features minor changes to the roof spoiler, alloy wheels, and front end. For a fresh appearance, the taillights have entirely new internals, and the rear bumper has also been modified.

Technological Updates in the Atto 3 EV

In terms of technological advancements, the ADAS currently has twelve ultrasonic radars, five mm-wave radars, five long-range cameras, and several surround-view cameras. All of this would contribute to improving the effectiveness and usability of ADAS under challenging circumstances.

With a 60.5kWh LFP battery pack, the new Atto 3 is probably going to stay the same. About 200 horsepower and 310 Nm of torque are produced by the front-mounted electric motor.

Conclusion

With its latest update, the BYD Atto 3 EV brings a blend of refined design elements and enhanced ADAS technology, making it a more advanced and stylish electric SUV. While the powertrain remains unchanged, the exterior tweaks and improved driver assistance systems contribute to a better overall driving experience. As anticipation builds for its arrival in India, the upgraded Atto 3 is set to strengthen BYD’s position in the EV market with its fresh appeal and cutting-edge features.
