Bold New Octa-Inspired Colours and Interior Upgrades for the Classic Defender V8

To give the legendary off-roader a more contemporary look, the Classic Defender V8 has been updated with a brilliant new selection of Octa-inspired exterior colours and enhanced interior materials. Premium upholstery options, new satin and gloss paint treatments, and custom detailing that improves comfort and style are now available to buyers. For enthusiasts looking for a customized classic, the Defender V8 combines genuine heritage with modern craftsmanship while maintaining its tough spirit.

  • New Octa-inspired Classic Defender V8 colour and trim choices

  • Superior interior materials and ongoing custom craftsmanship

Inspired by the modern Defender Octa, Land Rover Classic has introduced intriguing upgrades for the Classic Defender V8, giving the cherished vintage 4x4 a brand-new appearance. These changes combine traditional roughness with contemporary visual cues, making the classic design even more alluring to enthusiasts seeking heritage-inspired personal customisation.

Vibrant New Colours and External Improvements

The Classic Defender V8's new exterior colour palette is the most obvious difference. Petra Copper, Faroe Green, Sargasso Blue, Narvik Black, and Patagonia White are the five additional colors available to owners that correspond with those found on the Defender Octa. These coexist with current choices like Charente Grey, Carpathian Grey, and Borasco Grey.

Additionally, buyers can choose between glossy and satin finishes, the latter of which is designed to resemble the Octa's Matte Protective Film appearance.

The interior of the Land Rover Classic has been updated with a variety of high-end materials that were previously unavailable on the Classic Defender. Khaki Green, Light Cloud, and Lunar are just a few of the new Ultrafabrics PU upholstery colours that offer a modern look without sacrificing functionality.

Traditional leather is still available in semi-aniline Burnt Sienna and Ebony skins. The custom interior experience is completed with extra finished accents and optional heated Recaro sports seats.

Traditional Performance and Custom Craftsmanship

The Classic Defender V8 is still firmly anchored in its performance history despite its redesigned appearance. Donor models from the 2012–2016 manufacturing cycle are used to build the vehicles, which are then completely restored at Land Rover Classic’s Coventry factory.

Each has an 8-speed ZF automated transmission and a 5.0-liter V8 engine that generates about 400 horsepower. Owners gain from improved suspension, better braking hardware, and custom tuning that preserves the original charm while guaranteeing contemporary usability in addition to improved performance.

The paint process alone takes about 300 hours from preparation to final polish, demonstrating the painstaking attention to detail that goes into every Classic Defender V8 creation. Specialized wheel designs, a gloss-black radiator grille for better cooling, and carbon-fibre bonnet badging are other unique possibilities.

Combining New and Old

For enthusiasts of both vintage SUVs and upscale custom builds, these improvements present an alluring option. Land Rover Classic maintains the Defender V8's relevance and appeal for discriminating consumers who respect tradition without sacrificing expressive style or elegant finishes by incorporating design cues from the cutting-edge Defender Octa.
