Bmw Launches New X3 Xdrive20d M Sport Shadow Edition In India At Rs 75 Lakh

BMW Launches New X3 xDrive20d M Sport Shadow Edition in India at Rs 74.9 Lakh

New Delhi: Luxury carmaker BMW has introduced the new ‘X3 xDrive20d M Sport Shadow Edition’ to the Indian market, priced at an ex-showroom rate of Rs 74,90,000. The launch, which took place on Thursday, adds another sophisticated variant to BMW's X3 lineup, enhancing its appeal with exclusive design elements and advanced features.

A New Diesel Variant for India

This special edition X3 is available exclusively in the diesel variant and can be purchased through all BMW India dealerships as well as online platforms. The X3 xDrive20d M Sport Shadow Edition is offered in two striking metallic paint options: Brooklyn Grey and Carbon Black. These colour choices emphasize the vehicle's sporty and modern aesthetic, making it a standout on Indian roads.

Sporty and Distinctive Design

The design of the new X3 xDrive20d M Sport Shadow Edition leans towards a sportier orientation, which is evident from the moment you set eyes on it. The front features a Blacked Out Kidney Grille, which provides a bold and aggressive look, immediately grabbing attention. Complementing the grille are the BMW Laser Lights with their iconic blue accents. These lights not only add to the vehicle’s visual appeal but also enhance functionality by distributing light perfectly up to 650 meters, ensuring better visibility during night drives.

Performance and Power

Under the hood, the X3 xDrive20d M Sport Shadow Edition houses a robust two-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine. This engine produces an impressive output of 140 kW (190 horsepower) and a maximum torque of 400 Nm, available between 1,750 and 2,500 rpm. This powerful engine allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/hr in just 7.9 seconds, with a top speed of 213 km/hr. Such performance specifications make the new X3 both a swift and efficient SUV, ideal for varied driving conditions in India.

Advanced Cockpit and Technology

BMW ensures that the new X3 xDrive20d M Sport Shadow Edition is equipped with cutting-edge technology for both driver assistance and entertainment. Central to this is the BMW Live Cockpit Professional, running on the operating system 7.0. This system includes 3D Navigation and features a high-resolution 12.3-inch instrument cluster behind the steering wheel, alongside a control display. The seamless integration of these technologies ensures that drivers have all the necessary information and controls at their fingertips, enhancing the overall driving experience.

Safety Features

Safety remains a top priority for BMW, and the X3 xDrive20d M Sport Shadow Edition is no exception. The vehicle comes equipped with a comprehensive suite of safety features, including six airbags, an Antilock Braking System (ABS) with brake assist, and Attentiveness Assistance. Additionally, it includes Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) with Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), Cornering Brake Control (CBC), and an electric parking brake with auto hold. The car also features side-impact protection, an electronic vehicle immobilizer, and a crash sensor, among other safety technologies, ensuring that both driver and passengers are well-protected at all times.

Market Position and Expectations

With the launch of the X3 xDrive20d M Sport Shadow Edition, BMW continues to strengthen its position in the luxury SUV segment in India. The blend of performance, advanced technology, and sporty design is expected to appeal to a wide range of consumers, from young professionals to seasoned enthusiasts. Given the rising demand for premium SUVs in the Indian market, BMW's latest offering is poised to attract significant interest.

Conclusion

The introduction of the BMW X3 xDrive20d M Sport Shadow Edition marks a significant addition to BMW's Indian lineup. Priced at Rs 74.9 lakh, this special edition combines striking aesthetics, robust performance, and advanced technology, offering an enhanced driving experience. As BMW continues to innovate and expand its offerings, the X3 xDrive20d M Sport Shadow Edition exemplifies the brand's commitment to delivering luxury, safety, and cutting-edge features to its customers.

With its exclusive design elements, powerful engine, and comprehensive safety features, the new X3 variant is set to make a strong impression in the luxury SUV market. Indian consumers looking for a blend of performance and luxury will find the X3 xDrive20d M Sport Shadow Edition a compelling choice.
