Beijing Motor Show will Showcase Cars Like the Mercedes E-Class LWB, the new G-Class, and more

The Beijing Motor Show 2024 marks the return of the much-anticipated automotive event after a hiatus since 2019. Scheduled between April 24 and May 4, the show is set to showcase a range of new cars and SUVs that are bound to shake up the automotive market, featuring several models that are likely to make their way to India as well.

European manufacturers are planning for the grand event with Mercedes-Benz showcasing the revamped electric G-Class, Mini. They will be unveiling the much-awaited Aceman, and the debut of the Volkswagen Tiguan competitor, the new Smart #5.

India-specific Models Previewed at the Beijing Motor Show 2024:

BMW Neue Klasse SUV:

A futuristic design concept previewing BMW's upcoming electric SUVs, such as the next-generation iX3, built on an EV-specific platform with innovative battery technology and advanced software features.

Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance:

The plug-in hybrid version of the four-seater super-coupe from Mercedes-AMG has immense power output combining a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine with an electric motor, delivering phenomenal performance with 815hp and 1,420Nm of torque.

Mercedes-Benz G580 with EQ technology:

The EQG concept quad-motor electric iteration of the iconic G-Class promises advanced electric performance with motors on each wheel. It also includes a tank-turn function, leveraging steel ladder-frame chassis technology through Magna Steyr's manufacturing.

Mercedes-Benz E-Class:

The sixth-gen E-Class's larger and more luxurious avatar offers enhanced interior space, engine revisions, and amazing features making its debut at the Beijing Motor Show before heading to the Indian market.

Mini Aceman:

The replacement to the Mini Clubman, this electric SUV features boosted dimensions, powered by a single motor delivering 184hp or 218hp, along with expectations of a high-performance JCW variant.

The Beijing Motor Show will be a platform to showcase a variety of offerings, from advanced electric SUVs to range-extenders and hybrid models, introducing innovative technologies and designs that are set to redefine the automotive landscape globally.
