All-New Kia EV4 Specifications revealed with 630 km of range.

The technical details of the newly introduced all-electric EV4 have been formally disclosed by Kia. It will be on sale in the brand's native nation in March 2025 and come in hatchback and sedan configurations.

The E-GMP platform will serve as the foundation for the Kia EV4. The sedan version of the EV4 is longer than 4.7 meters, whereas the hatchback variant is just 4.4 meters.

Both models will have two battery packs (58.3kWh and 81.4kWh) with a 150kW electric motor mounted on the front axle as part of the powertrain choices.

Regarding range, the smaller battery pack model has a stated 430-kilometer driving range. On a single charge, the long-range version can go 630 kilometers.

Charging time taken

With a rapid DC charger, the entry-level model can charge from 10% to 80% in just 29 minutes. The larger battery pack version, however, can be charged in thirty-one minutes.

Conclusion

The Kia EV4 is set to make a significant impact in the electric vehicle market with its impressive range and fast-charging capabilities. With two body styles, advanced battery options, and a sleek design, it caters to a wide range of consumers. The EV4’s launch in Korea in March 2025 marks an exciting step for Kia’s expanding EV lineup, setting a strong foundation for future global availability.
