Coupe-SUV electric motoring from BYD is the Sealion 7, listed from about Rs 41.90 lakh to Rs 55.90 lakh (ex-showroom). It follows the Seal sedan as a more SUV-shaped BYD at a similar price band.
Both trims use an 82.5 kWh battery: twin-motor all-wheel drive at 523 bhp / 690 Nm, or a single-motor rear-drive at 308 bhp / 380 Nm.
Key features include 11 airbags, a rotating 15.6-inch screen, ventilated power seats, a panoramic sunroof, a 500-litre boot and a 50-litre frunk. Its claimed real-world range sits around 500 km.
